I’m new at gardening. I’m trying to grow summer squash. There is a lot of green leaves and I think they need to be cut back but I’m not quite sure of the correct way to do that. Please help and thank you.

    I’m no expert but I had seen in a YouTube video that you cut close to the base so that you don’t leave a hollow tube open for bugs to come in. I am also trying to grow summer squash 😁

    Be on the lookout for pickle worms. Lost all my squash on this one. I highly recommend getting some Bacillus thuringiensis (BT):
