Hi everyone, this is my first time growing cherry tomatoes and I’m super excited. I got them from Rona and I just repotted it yesterday. This morning when I checked it, I saw that some of the leaves are turning white and I’m not sure why. I wanted to know if anyone could help me fix it.
glad to see another tomato gardener! it’s sort of hard for me to see from this angle, do you have a more zoomed in picture of the leaves?

Okay, unfortunately i’m not 100% sure. From everything i’ve seen it could be possibly be from too much sun, or even a sharp change in environment. I would definitely recommend having a second opinion though
2개 좋아요I think you might be right. I have done some research and it seems like sunscald. I really appreciate your help, I think what I will do is keep the plant inside and slowly bring it outside for a limited time, so that it can get used to the environment.

My tomatoe plants did this too when I first put them outside in their permanent home. I had been bringing them outside temporarily to acclimatize them but I guess i didn’t do it properly/we got a heatwave a few days after planting. All this to say, my tomatoes are perfectly fine and have adapted well to their new homes and I’ve got a BUTT TONNE of tomatoes. So they will adapt, it might just take a little bit longer. But I’m also a first time gardener so this might be terrible advice.
