Planting Spinach! I got spinach seeds 3 weeks ago and just haven’t had the time. I was wondering what would be the best way to start them? I was thinking of starting indoors and then transferring them to my larger outdoor pots. Any advice is welcome :)
Spinach tolerates cold, so you can start them outdoors 1-2 months before the frost free date in spring, though they do better with a plastic greenhouse done over them if you start them so early. As for fall planting, you'd want to start 6 to 8 weeks before the first frost. If you started them indoors now, you'd likely have to keep them inside all winter
