My sunflower has had this flower that was pollinated. The petals fell off two weeks ago. It hasn’t produced seeds yet. How long is it supposed to take for seeds to show up?

    The seeds should be under the little flowers. If that was mine I would cut it off and let it dry out!

      Rub all of the little flowers off and put it somewhere, where it can dry out. I’ve got a few, that I’ve cut off, sitting around waiting for the back of the sunflower head to get a bit brown and wrinkly as that’s when the seeds are “ripe”. There’s a whole other thing where you cook the whole head of the sunflower but I haven’t gone down that route yet.

    Yeah, I cut the head off and got all of the seeds out. I’ll start drying them today. Thanks for your help!
