Could I try harvesting any carrots yet or should I wait? I planted these last month.

    For me, they take the full summer season to be ready to harvest. I live in New England so our growing season isn’t as lengthy as some. So unless you want baby carrots I’d hold off on harvesting right now.

    No! You want the full bushy and leafy tops like the carrots you’d get at the grocery store. If you just planted them last month, they’ll probably be mature enough around late August/ September and October would be prime depending on where you’re located 💚

    It takes at least 60 days and the greens should be tall (like almost a foot tall). I've been waiting on mine and just looked it up yesterday. 😂

      Same I looked it up a while ago but I think I planted them at the end of April or beginning of May so I’ll just wait. I know I’ll probably be getting small baby carrots because they’re in the pot so close to each other. But that’s fine. I usually cute up my carrots anyway. 🧡

      I don't know how to reply directly to you so I hope you see it, but the greens make a really good pesto as well! You should try that if you want more food for your efforts.
