I don’t know what it is, but I struggle growing tomatoes apparently! What could I be doing wrong that I can barely ever keep them alive?!

    Can you say anything about how they look when they die? Some types of fungal disease have a characteristic wilt. Other diseases manifest in visible ways, too. If you're planting in the ground, consider trying compact varieties in 5 gal buckets or other large containers. Take heart, though. My father, a very successful vegetable gardener, says tomatoes just want to die! He always plants more than he actually wants for that reason.

      Lol I agree with that. I always over plant them. My biggest issue was getting a better light on them and keeping them well watered. Transitioning them outdoors can be tedious too. I bought a shade cloth for this year, so I don't have to keep moving pots around as I acclimate them to outdoors

    Mine never worked indoors, but if you put them in a large pot under a tree and water them every other day they will do great
