I found these baby birds around my garden yesterday, and I think their nest is hidden in the bushes in the front of my house. I’m not sure what species they are, but they still have their baby feathers and are too young to fly. But they are very cute, they’re named Hippity and Hop.

Definitely baby birds that just fledged their nest and are exploring. The first week after leaving the nest is really dangerous for them as, they can’t fly well. But if you watch them from a hidden place, you should see the parent return to feed them. The fledgling will start hopping and flapping their wings to get them to “higher ground”. If you have outdoor cats please try to keep them away from the shrub, so the young birds have a better chance of survival.
