What is up with my brandywine seedlings? I’ve grown my tomatoes from seed for years, and I’ve never had this curling issue. Lower branches have fallen off. Some of my other brandy wines are doing this to a less drastic degree. Any idea what is causing it and what to do about it? I’ve used the same starter soil for all my seedlings and everything else looks healthy. Actually I had a bumblebee cherry tomato that dropped a couple lower branches a couple weeks ago, but didn’t do the curling, at least not that I recall.

    Have you tried more sun ? Mine enjoyed lots of sun and I water every other day

      They are in a big south facing window and I have grow lights too so they don’t get leggy. I sent a pic to my veggie garden friend and he suggested too much water. I think that might be it. I transplanted some to larger pots a couple weeks ago and they started having trouble after that. So I’m going to see what happens if I back off the watering. Thank you for your reply!

      No problem I also recently found out you can repot in to big of a pot ! So the plant will start shifting its focus on root growth instead of plant growth and nourishment it blew my mind !

      Yes. There’s so much to learn! Right now I do want to develop a strong root system now, but I might have jumped up to too big of a size too quickly. They were in 2.5”. Hopefully it will bounce back well!
