feeling i’m doing everything wrong :( bought a mint plant from lowe’s, repotted it, and things were okay until i went out of town unexpectedly and when it came back the mint was practically dead. someone who actually knows what their doing could prob fix it , but i decided to cut my losses and cut the stems to it could grow again. i just feel like i feel messing it up! i am a super super super beginner! turns out the pot i originally had wasn’t the right one either. which is why i reported it again and now i’m worried i’m messing this up more! also this app it telling me to water the plant every 10 days? that doesn’t seen right but what do i know. it’s in my bedroom btw, i can put it back outside but i actually get less light on my porch than in my bedroom. am i doing everything wrong? or is it all gonna be ok. pls help

    mint is like a weed, nearly impossible to prevent from spreading and even harder to kill. i have, however, killed spearmint by letting the soil stay dry too long. the best time to water your mint is when the top soil appears totally dry, but there is still some moisture in the bottom of the pot. they’re very hard to overwater as well so don’t be afraid to water frequently. my indoor mint needed water every 3 days or so and that’s how it ended up dead (i forgot to water it)

      Same, mine likes to be watered every other day. I changed the scheduling in Planta.

    Do not worry about the plant every year it grows but in winter it fades but it grows back just water it weekly,and put it outside when it is sunny trust me I have lots of experience ps cut any dry stems at the top

    i could be wrong but a lot of the time bigger stores rubber band the roots or do something to restrict it so if it doesn’t bounce back maybe check for that
