    Pick them when they are large. The second one should be ready if not soon.

      What do you mean? I planted green peppers. They are supposed to be another color other than green?

      Yes! They are actually not ripe when they are green. They will change to red, orange, and yellow!

    Hi choc!! So pretty much we all are confused on what Tamara is saying. But when a green bell pepper PLANT is fully matured the peppers won’t be green anymore. But that is when the plant is a couple years old. Right now they are green peppers. And when they feel like the ones at the grocery store (aka hard) pick them and enjoy!!

      This actually happens anytime! Mine is six months old and the peppers turned red when I left them on there. It’s the age of the pepper, not the plant! But the green is perfectly fine also. I don’t like that flavor as much so I like to wait! 😁
