Our tomatoes we grew from seeds—but where are the tomatoes? I took everyone’s advice and repotted my tomato plant, but it is definitely in shock.

You need to fertilizer with a higher percentage of phosphorus to promote blooms. N-P-K: Nitrogen=green foliage. Phosphorous=blooms, flowers, fruit, and roots—you will have to hand pollinate if you’re not leaving your plant outside. K (Potassium)= root system. Same applies to all other fruits and veggies.

i would suggest a bigger pot!! and a tomato fertilizer!!! :) atleast a 12 inch deep pot, my cherry tomatoes are doing great in one! i would do one plant per pot as well!

Sorry but what do you mean by one plant per pot?

it looks like there are many different small tomato plants in one pot, and you could separate them and plant them all separately to help them thrive!! tomatoes do well in bigger pots. :)

How much bigger should I go? Since the typical rule of thumb is 1-2 inches bigger than it’s original.

like i said maybe a 12 inch depth pot!! :) depending on what type of tomato plant it is. if it’s an indeterminate type it will continue to grow and get like 4-5 feet tall!! but at that size they should be fine if you just transplant them into a bigger pot. if you want multiple plants you have to get quite a few pots bc there’s a few separate plants there!

I believe it should have a bigger pot. I had three tomato plants in a nice eight square foot box and they flourished. I got one previously from a store and it was already mature. It died and a little later started watering the box again and new tomatoes grew from the rotted ones that fell!

Thank you! I’ll definitely look into bigger pots. They’ve been droopy, and it makes me sad because my son planted it. Thank you! Rae Dunn products are the best 🥰

I have been thinking about your plant all night and I believe a mainly WIDER pot is a great investment for this gorgeous plant!
