I really wanna plant some fall vegetables but I live in illinois. Anyone have any suggestions?

    It depends on your region’s temperature range and soil type. If I’m not wrong most grown crop in Illinois is corn so that might work. You’d have to research it and prepare for it as it’s not as easy as planting and it growing it can be very complicated.

    There are many fall plants that can grow on Illinois. It’s too late to start corn. Several varieties of cabbage, carrots and beans can be started depending on the zone. Illinois has several zones. Check out the Illinois agricultural extension service for advice or the local farm supply stores. I grew up in southern Michigan with family in Illinois and Indiana. My uncle owned a farm. We had to follow him to all the fall festivals like carnival workers on weekends and pull weeds and strawberries during vacations. 🤣🍓🥬
