Harvested some oregano!! There’s a cold front coming to the US this week. Perfect time to make oregano tea. Highly recommend oregano tea if u have a sore throat.

    What variety of oregano is this? My oregano leaves are way smaller!

      I didn’t see your comment till now! So sorry its called Cuban oregano or aka Mexican mint! :) hope this helps!

    I love using oregano and other herbs in tea. I’m growing oregano, sage and rosemary in pots. I have the common small leaf oregano. The one in your photo looks like the variety I grew for a few years called Cuban oregano (aka Mexican Mint, French oregano, Indian Borage, Spanish thyme). I believe it’s a part of the coleus family, Coleus (plectranthus) amboinicus. I combine it with lemongrass for a lovely tea. 🪴🍀

      Mixing it with lemon grass sounds like a fabulous idea!! I need to try that
