Anyone know why my tomatoes might be yellowing at the bottom? I water them every other day because that is planta’s recommendation and it’s outside in garden soil, with my other garden plants.

it’s completely normal for older leaves to die off while the top is still growing- those lower leaves might not be getting enough sunlight due to the new growth. it could also be that mites and water from the ground are getting to it- i always put mulch around the stem of my outdoor plants to make sure those bottom leaves don’t touch the ground

You should water every day and prune of the suckers and dead leaves
