Potatoes and corn are off to lovely starts! Late planted okra and green beans are struggling a tad. And obviously sunflowers are doing well too around 7 feet so far and grew over 3 feet in the last two weeks. May actually see the 15 ft potential. Concord grapes in the background are thriving! The variety we planted, Fredonia, we’re crossed only a few hours away. It’s growing like it’s right at home!

    White stuff on plants are to protect from borers. We’re on old farm land so tons of borers emerge each summer and makes it so tough most of my neighbors gave up. I’m too stubborn lol.

    You should not grow sunflowers with other plants because they just make other plants grow less
