Question: I’m trying to grow at least 7-10 pumpkins, but I’m unsure of what size grow bags I should place them in…I currently have them in a seedling tray awaiting germination. Should I place them in individual grow bags? If so, what would be the recommended size? Or should I just get like a 30-gallon grow bag for the entire batch of soon-to-be seedlings?

    I think is up to you! What works best for your space launch, they should be fine with 5gallons, and that the pumpkins like to climb.

    Give them as much soil as you can. The more the bigger and more pumpkins you’ll get. I grow 4 pumpkin plants and get a ton of pumpkins each year. Water water water! The thousand pound pumpkins can handle 100 gallons a day. Pumpkins can handle tons of water. Also make sure calcium stays in ample Supply.

      Sorry couldn’t add multiple photos at once had to add them one by one. Here’s my setup. I know not a bag but just wanted to show the potential of 4 pumpkin plants if fed heavy calcium diet and lots of water. Some of those leaves were massive. We had way more pumpkins from just four plants than I ever imagined possible.

      No worries! I really appreciate the photos and the advice!! Here’s a picture of my five pumpkin seedlings. All of them are in 20 gallon grow bags except the one on the bottom right, which is in a ten gallon bag.
