Does anyone have any ideas for plants/fruits/veggies for greenhouses? I got a small one for my birthday and want to fill it! I put my strawberry plant in there, but I think it was too hot as some of the leaves are now fried. Any and all inspo/tips are appreciated :-)

If it’s too hot, you may need to have some kind of ventilation or shading system. I would recommend, if it has a door, maybe having the door slightly open for some ventilation, or maybe a small window. You could also have a little extra plastic screen and tap it, or weigh it down with a few rocks, and put it on the west side to help shade it from afternoon sun. I don’t have many plant recommendations, but tomatoes do really good in bright bright sun.

i love greenhouses!! in my experience peppers grow INSANELY in greenhouses. i mean they produce like zucchini! You could buy some compact kinds (if i recall our banana peppers were real short & tidy) that wouldn't take up the whole thing too! Anything that naturally comes from a hot/humid/sunny climate tends to do well in a greenhouse. That means you can try all sorts of fun things, as long as they're small enough to fit! I guess kiwi and turmeric definitely aren't small enough, and neither are melons & hibiscus.. but they would love the greenhouse environment! Have fun with your new greenhouse and best of luck!! 💚✨🌿
