Anyone know anything about black seeded simpons lettuce? Planted it and it’s started to sprout but can’t find much information online! Does this look right? Any tips?

    Your lettuce looks good to me. I plant black seeded simpson every year. I wouldn’t say I’m expert because it has been easy for me to grow (I’m in zone 8) so I just direct sow seeds and let them do their thing. Once the leaves are about a couple inches tall, I top dress with compost. Then once the leaves are about 4” tall I top dress with blood meal and once a month thereafter. Again, no expert here but this is what works for me personally,
