    Is it Romain lettuce? I’ve seen that happen if it’s reaching for more sunlight or if it’s bolting due to very warm temperatures. If this was mine, I’d try cutting it and growing some roots on the stem in water (after eating some of those delicious leaves 😉) I’ve not done it myself but the internet seems to think it’s possible!

    It’s bolted (high temp). Once it’s bolted, still edible but little more bitter. Mulch around bed of lettuce to help keep cooler/prevent from bolting sooner (or lay mesh on top).
