   They produce lots of fruit but they also spread like crazy when you plant them in the ground. If you don’t want it to spread definitely plant it in a pot

     I have them in a pot now, so I’ll probably keep them there! I love strawberries but I don’t want too many.

   I’ve read that you should cut off the flowers to encourage root growth. My family and I don’t do that. But if you have more than one you could try it.

   Don’t pull them up, protect the pot over winter. They will fruit better the next year! Keep the berries out of the soil always.
