What are the yellow things on my Basil?! Are they a problem that needs to be fixed; if so, how?

    They look like aerial root nodes. Pluck one off to see if it’s a root stub. Make a cutting just below the group of them to start a new propagation assuming those are aerial roots. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone powder and place in a well watered potting mix.
