      I'm not totally sure the exact kind, I'm sorry! I believe this should only bear about a quart

    It's my first year growing successfully and first berry, so not many tips, but I mainly try to water them daily (in florida so it's pretty hot already) and keep a close eye on pests. Also I try to make sure the berries aren't touching the soil, it helps protect them from pests

      Now, I understand why the berries are on the rim of the pot. Should the soil line be higher and closer to the rim? It seems it would be easier to dangle the berries too. It’s been many years since I grew strawberries. We have strawberry a large festival and several U-Pick type farms where you can pick your own.

      Yeah, I wish I had thought more to plant higher in the pot. I planted a couple more after and put them up higher for that reason!
