    Personally, I found strawberry plants to be two kinds, super finicky and dies early or extremely hearty and takes a lot to kill them. Either way you have to have a lot of plants to make a lot of strawberries. That’s been my experience.

    If you pinch the extras off before they start growing, the plant will focus on making the big ones.
