I got some of my succulents on my porch for the summer
Hello! I have this bunny eared cactus that has grown a lot since I bought it. Now itās hunched over from the weight on top. Recently it had fungus in the soil; I scraped it off and treated the soil with peroxide and water. Any suggestions on how to handle these big ears??
Need some help here. So this was a small hairy succulent cacti that I purchased 2 years ago. It started with 2 pads that were about the size of a dollar coin. Then stalks came last summer, and this summer pads. I know itās a Prickly Pear of some kind but I cannot find anything similar in the Planta database. Thoughts? The entire thing is wobbling over like an inflatable arm waiving car dealership gimmick. (Ignore its pot mate T.C.)
Can somebody tell me why my echeveria āLicoriceā is growing wrinkly leaves that are hard and losing leaves rapidly at the bottom? Sheās in bright direct sunlight window and was blooming in the winter last year. Please help!
what plant is this ?
Hereās my beautiful firecracker aloe. Any suggestions on how to stress her to become slightly pinkish?
I think Iām going to buy a new succulent. I have a bunch, but I want something ādifferentā, something odd. Any thoughts?
Hi, can anyone help me ID this? The pot I bought it in said "succulent mix" ... thanks in advance :)
Blue Monday, er Thursday. Iām taking advantage of some wind in 93 F/full sun to get these four back into fighting shape. Two point five more months of outside weather, and go.
Hii iām new can you frien burros tail in soil by the stem my had gotten root rot and i had to cut off all rootsš¤§
First moon catus owner here! I just got mine today and was wondering if I could cut and propagate these little nubbins?!
Okay what is this succulent!!
My string of watermelons is growing like a sea serpent in my large planter. It grows up into the air and then dips down and digs into the soil to root itās vine and then pops back up. If I were to take a time lapse of a year of growth sped up it would look like it was swimming through this planter. It is about to flower as well for the first time.
Iāve decided only to do water and Pearl propagation. Here they are now. (I know it looks so dirty šš)
Do these roots look normal? Theyāre not soggy like root rot, but theyāre VERY dark and hard to the touch - almost like sticks?? Should I just try and reroot the whole plant?
Also what plant is this?? Tysm in advance.
Hey circle!! I am thinking about doing it⦠I think I am going to propagate string of pearls!! My string of pearls is so long and I want to have a new baby plant! I am going to do it a few different ways: water, soil, and a singular pearl. I have searched up all of these and found out they are all possible!! I will be posting updates every week about my baby strings. So excited and totally going to do it after work!! If you have any recommendations than feel free to share. šŖ“š§š¦š§µ (Also posting this on propagating and sowing)
This is Chet, named after the monstrous, amazing, art class style āpot.ā In case youāre wondering, most of the pot is filled with rocks with about 3 inches of space for Chetās deep roots to breath. Youāll note that another is leaf coming up the wrong direction. Itās not a split, but a twin. I considered digging Chet out to give more space to stretch, but he is pretty lodged in - like a hermit crab. Included is also how this species *could* look if we stopped picking at our plants :) Also note my temporary ālittle guys playgroundā I tried out for a few weeks. It was too awkward to deal with.
Hi friends! Looking for help identifying this baby? š±š
Anyone know what this is called? Iāve cared for it for years, but have never been able to ID it.
