Can anyone tell me what kind of plant this is? Picked it up from Loweâs
We underestimated how cold it would get in the sunroom here in PA, and we lost some sweet plants. đšđđ The jade and pickle cactus are the saddest, how they collapsed after warming up inside. I suspect burst cell walls due to the weeping they were doing. Soooo sad! Among the other casualties: blue echeveria, little elephant bush, young burro tail, and gasteria. đ«
Help! Can somebody name this succulent? I know succulent care is generally pretty similar, but I still like knowing their scientific names.

Hi, I have this stonecrop that was etiolating and people suggested I get it better light and then try propagating it when it looked healthier. So I got a grow light and it looks much healthier, the first photo is before and the second two are after and it looks visibly greener despite the fact it loss multiple leaves. Now I am wondering if it looked ready to propagate or should I wait longer and if it is ready how should I do it?
So I have my showy sedum stone crop outside, and itâs in the phase where itâs completely âdeadâ and itâs starting to create a lil baby version of it :) I leave it outside but lately itâs been raining a lot and Iâm worried about root rot (it does have drainage holes tho) When itâs already been watered should I bring it inside when itâs going to rain? Also itâs been pretty cold lately, whatâs the minimum temperature it can be to stay outside (a.k.a the coldest temperature the plant can be outside before there being a risk of harm to it)
Appreciation to Planta for adding Pink Nymph to your species DB a while back. Here she is. Mammillaria elongata âPink Nymphâ in bloom. I have not given the elongatas much love because theyâre, to be honest, not very exciting. To be more honest, I couldnât figure out what they wanted for light. ps This one is on a shelf with a moderately strong light all day. pps I do endorse this light in place of a Mars Hydro or other 100 watt+ big-coverage lights. I have non-science-based insights around it, but itâs basically just not as harsh. Those are also âresultsâ based on using a huge light in a small space. Too much muscle ha. ppps I would like a job where I test grow lights all day.
It has kind of struggled since I have owned it. It arrived soft and mushy and has never recovered. I donât know if it is going to be a loss? Should take the loss and buy a new one when the weather is warmer during transport? The other three I bought all are doing fantastic. I want to save it. I havenât watered it, its dirt is just damp. I had a soft spot like a bruised peach and I cannot tell if it is trying to mold too.

How does this cactus look? Iâve had this grafted cactus for many months, with it looking pretty much the same the whole time, including the appearance of the base. Iâm more of a leafy-plant mom, so any cactus advice appreciated âșïžđ”
