Hi I have a few points and questions I would like to ask about my succulents, 1. starting with the fact that Iâve had these succulents for about a month now and they still havenât really rooted, and Iâm wondering if thatâs bad or is it just winter and I need to wait longer or what.
2. Secondly I have a stonecrop that was etiolating, and so I got a grow light to provide more light and I have seen some visible improvements in the color, but I have also noticed there have been a few leaves that have began turning yellow and shrivelling. It also lots many leaves when it was etiolating and Iâm wondering they will grow back or not.
3. I have this cactus that had rot and I removed it and now Iâm wondering if itâs looking good or not.
4. My Echeveria has some yellow shriveled leaves and Iâm wondering jf itâs ok.

Iâm a younger teen and Iâm VERY new to plants, but Iâd really like to own and take care of some but I donât know whatâs best for me to start with? Iâm interested in succulents, cactuses, generally smaller potted plants and carnivorous plants and Iâm willing to put in the time and effort to care for them! I donât want to start taking care of one and it end up too difficult and it dies, I just donât know what kind of plant(s) to start with.. any recommendations?

Can anyone tell me whatâs wrong with my prickly pear? Sheâs 35 years old and I repotted because it was well over due! My grandma gave her to me and I want to keep her alive. Worried about this brown/yellow color, any ideas or advice?

What recommendations do you guys have for grow lights and heating mats? Iâve done research on how to use them properly, but I donât know what brand is good and which ones are scam. I have succulents and avocado seedlings.

Repotted! Plenty of space for the teensy baby squidwards and the increasingly giant Squidward Prime

Any tips on caring for a Christmas cactus? I got it for Christmas and it was full of buds but only two bloomed and the rest fell off and one of the stems fell off as well. :(

Donât give up on your succulents! First pic is from Dec 19th. All of the roots detached. I removed all of the dead leaves, got down to where the roots were growing, and replanted in cactus soil. Now less than a month later, the roots are long and healthy. I'm amazed!

Hello! Got my cactus about 4 months ago everything seems to be going good! Iâm still unsure about what type of cactus it is, and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it. Iâm also a little unsure about watering, as Iâve been doing it every 2 weeks as it is placed in a big window that has lots of sun (Florida) that comes through and the soil seems to be dry. Thank you!đ

Soooo, Iâm wondering if someone can tell me whatâs wrong with my prickly pear if there is anything wrong with it. I got the original cutting (the biggest bottom piece in the middle that is rooted) on June 4th. Iâll post what it looked like when I first got it and put it into dirt. As you can see, it has done really well as far as growth. Itâs grown 3 new lobes and seemed to be doing really well! I guess my main concern is how droopy looking the lobes look. Is that meaning there is something wrong? Are are they maybe too heavy to support themselves? Any and all feedback would be soooo much appreciated! I really want to keep this plant alive so I can get another one (of different variety) so I can try to get them to produce fruit!

Im worried about my zebra plant, but at the same time Iâm not, the brown spots at the bottom concern me, but the light green ones at the top kind of look like new growth, but I could be totally wrong, so Iâm wondering if itâs ok.

I got this succulent off amazon, maybe regretting it. It has kind of a white film look on it. What is it? Do I need to keep it away from my others? I donât see any mites. Otherwise appears mostly healthy.

My cactus split open on its own and completely popped⊠i dont know what to do⊠should i throw it away?
I dont know what caused this, was it under watered, overwatered⊠not enough sun? what could I have done better?
I have several Aeonium Kiwi and they are all currently green instead of yellow I have them under grow lights so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. They were such a pretty yellow when I first got them. I live in IL but the succulents are under grow lights
The underside of the leaves also seem to have variable brown marks on them. I'm wondering if that's due to bugs. Some of the leaves looked so bad I removed most of the bad leaves and am going to repot.
Thanks!
