I've bought some new lithops and I've just repotted them with the ones I've had for a while. Does it look like I've planted them too close together? I did some research and I read that lithops grow close together in their natural habitat. I just don't know if I went too far.

Anyone know what these pink buds are on my orchid cactus? I’ve had them before and they have just died and fallen off. I’ve had a hard time figuring out to how make this one thrive.

I just repotted my zebra succulent and watered after it was sitting in a small pot with no soil for months, oops! My MIL told me the dried tips are ok and will fall off eventually but I would just like to know if the pot is an ok size. Also do these succulents usually have purple leaves?

I would like to start a petition to call tall and long cacti, "beefs" this idea has been started by the tiktok/YouTube user named "PlantsByKrystal" and in her words, when watering a plant, "drown that ho"(water thuroughly)

Hello, I had a very small aloe vera that was gifted to me a few years ago. It has never thrived, has died a few times, and hasnt had roots for about a year. Most of the plants i own arent succulents so im not very knowledgeable in this area. If someone could give me some tips that would be great. Thank you 😊

Help! I saved this little blue echeveria from Home Depot! I repotted it in succulent soil and the water seems to be draining good! It’s under a grow light! What else can I do to help it?

I purchased this plant in this strawberry pot. There were chicks in the lower holes, but they died. One on the top is now dying. I keep it under a sun light. I know I have been watering it too much. I started by watering from the bottom, and that’s when the lower hens died. So I started watering from the top. Still too much water because I was watering every 7-10 days. Is there anything else besides the water that is causing the plants to die?

I have a pink butterfly kalanchoe. I had it in my office window. It looks a bit leggy to me, so I’m moving it outside. I have it in the shade today but will gradually give it more sunshine. My plan is to keep it outside until the temps drop to 50 at night. What else should I do to help with its growth while it is outside? There are 3 leaves on the bottom of the stem that just lay on the soil. Could I clip those and propagate?

Hello dear succulent and cacti lovers, I have amassed a small collection of succulents due to my son’s interest. Not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I have a north-facing balcony with no direct sunlight and have had difficulty keeping them alive. The small collection in the photo is what I am currently trying to keep happy, and have added grow lights to do so. My ghost plant was quite leggy but seems to be much happier with these lights! I have 2 questions: 1. My split rock as cute as it is has not shown any signs of growth. It seems to be healthy, but I am not sure if I should expect anything from him. 2. I have a pot of 3 succulents in the back my son gifted me for Mother’s Day. Should I separate them? Francesco Baldi is growing some aerial roots I’m not sure is normal, the Sunburst seems to be losing bottom leaves. The Jade seems content for now. Thoughts?

I initially thought that this was just corking, but upon removing some soil from the base, it appears that Cucumber is damaged. The base of the cactus is not necessarily plump and when I push on the skin I suspect that it may be hallow. Is this an external injury or could this be a sign of root rot? 😫 Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hello! This is Georgia, and according to Planta she's a crinkle leaf succulent (although please let me know if that might've been a mislabel). I've had her for several years (got her in college at a little RA dorm activity Soph. year), and have never really had issues. My question is abt the little fuzzy orange/brown bits growing on her (in the photo). When I've looked up crinkle leaf succulents, none of them seem to have those. Because health-wise she seems to be doing fine, I was curious about whether she might be a different type of succulent altogether, or if there's something I can do for them to not be there. Not a major deal, more of a curiosity partially bc they do fall off and it can get a bit annoying with cleanup is all. Plus, I would want to know if maybe there actually is something wrong with her health-wise so I can take better care of her. Thank you so much !

Help with identifying this plant would be appreciated. PlantSnap says it’s in the Crassula family but the images it’s showing me don’t look like my plant. I do think it’s in that family just none of the plants it provided.

Just looking for some tips! My succulent here (i’m not too sure what kind) was doing wonderful, purple and full!! And I followed what the app said (watering every 25 days, next to window, etc) and she’s become sad and lost most of her leaves!! If you have any tips for me please let me know!

I saw this lil guy at my local grocery store. I think it’s a moon cactus but I’m unsure about them. I heard they don’t last long so I passed on it. However, I can’t stop thinking about it. Are they worth it to go back for? Thoughts about them?
