Pothos Princess!

I was gifted this little guy (Stanley) at work and unsure of what to do with him. I think he’s a dog tail cactus, but he looks all droopy and sad. Anything I can do to help him out? Should I trim off the droopy skinny bits and propagate? Any and all feedback would be helpful!

Sometimes it takes looking at old (uh, one year old) pics to remind myself that things are actually happening. The one Haworthia grew a three-part stalk, and it's impossible to photograph ha. That is a Pampered Chef casserole dish with two holes drilled in the bottom.

I’ve had this guy for a little over a year and it was sharing a planter with a few friends but I recently repotted it into this plastic planter (temporarily). It started growing like crazy after that and I’m not sure what I should do. The stalk is really long and I thought it was sprouting flowers but now I think it’s more babies. Help!! (Arm is there to block neighbor’s cars)

Hi all. I wonder if anyone can help? I bought a baby rubber plant online, which arrived today along with this little guy as an unexpected free gift. Unfortunately, most of it had come out of its pot in transit, but I've tried to repot it as best I can and have watered to fix it in the soil. It seems to be lots of little separate rooted pieces, but hoping at least some of them will survive. Does anyone know what this is? It was labelled as 'mixed cactus'. Once I know what it is I will look up care tips and it can live with my other cacti. 😁

This is the lone survivor of a trio I bought back when I had little experience and thought, “Succulents are easy.” After finally stabilizing it, I attempted to propagate three pups but none survived my renewed optimism. So, I took a vow of do no harm and left it alone for the past year. We’ve finally reached the point where it no longer whispers “Plant Slayer!” when I walk by. Attempting another pup propagation now… what could possibly go wrong?

Hey yall! I wanted to add a lil something to my cactus garden and placed a single strand of mezoo around the edge and now it’s completely taken over….i think its pretty and the cacti seem to be doing fine but im wondering if i should thin the mezoo out a lil for more room for the cacti to grow?

Hi! Newbie here. This is my string of dolphins, it’s turning brown at the roots and falling off. I’ve recently started using a grow light due to not a lot of sun exposure. Any thoughts on what to do? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m looking for advice on whether or not to chop and prop my gollum jade. She grew from a single cutting and was looking so cute, but now her stems are getting heavy and weighed down. I’m thinking I can separate her into 2-3 pieces and repot into a larger pot to have them grow more upright. Would it be super traumatic to chop her right at the base? Any advice would be appreciated, TIA!

Show me the Greens!

Similar to my earlier post (re: gollum), I’m considering pruning my jade. It’s top-heavy and leaning. I was told NOT to cut the trunk, so my question is to where? I’ve posted my thoughts in the comment section. Thanks so much for your help. I’m so proud of the growth here; they’re so beautiful. Pruning makes me a little nervous.

I’ve been researching the process of pruning and propagating jades. Would that be the same case as this gollum? It’s getting a bit heavy on one side. It’s pretty full so I’m not quite sure where to prune.

This is my absolute favorite plant! It seems to grow in stages. Sometimes faster, sometimes very slow. The leaves are pretty plump and plant generally seems to be doing well. Only thing is he's getting pretty tall but not branching out to be more bushy. Is it worth the risk of trimming him back a little to see if he will grow out more than just up? Also when I've tried propagating a leaf before it always just shrivels up and rots. Any tips?

BlueKoala

Blue candle doing ok? Got it in mid May and it's got a lot taller. Seems happy but just wanted to check he's not stretching himself out or anything. A few bits of roots are poking out of the bottom of the pot, too, so shall I just size him up a bit?
