Does this succulent seem ok to ya’ll? To me it looks like it’s trying desperately to escape its pot. Also not quite the typical Fibonacci optics anymore since I bought her.

Hi everyone, I’m new to the cactus and succulent group. I know very little about them’s. My girlfriend gave me Jade in February and she was doing fine up until about a month ago and that’s when I noticed that she was getting very skimpy, I checked the center of the plant and all of those leaves had fallen off and this is what she looks like now, so I have a before and now. if anyone can help me save her I would really appreciate it. I did the diagnosis with Planta and followed those instructions, but that didn’t seem to help. Is there a good way to propagate what I have now. If I touch the leaves, they just fall off, most of them anyway and they seem really soft, but the soul is dry. Is it too late? Please help me save her…

These succulents (Maeve) seem okay, but as winter is coming I worry I need to change something. I don’t water them often because they are in a glass container. There is succulent soil, sand, rocks and small seashells in this mason jar. Maeve has been in this jar for about two months. Also, I worry about crowding.

I just bought this Graptoveria opalina a week ago. She looked perfect. So healthy and chunky. Her soil was damp when purchased, well a week later she is yellowing! What do I do?! I have her in a West facing bright window that gets 6 hrs of direct sun, in zone 10a. I haven’t watered her since. Is it possible the nursery overwatered and she has root rot? Should I just leave her be? Any tips are appreciated

Hi all! I’ve had this zebra plant for years with minimal upkeep, and realized today that it has two offshoots. How do I extricate and replant them? Are they too big/is it too late?

Hi! I was wondering about repotting them. I bought some good succulent soil and was wondering when/how to repot them. Any advice? I bought these yesterday and today on a whim. Do they grow any bigger? Will they die if I put them in a slightly bigger pot? Any advice is welcome!!!

I have a pulido's echeveria that was doing really well. My mom dropped a bag of sand on him and now he only has less than a quarter of his leaves left. I saved some for propagation but I'm more focused on the plant's recovery. I can attach a photo if that would help. Any tips/anything I should do differently? Thanks!

Sarah

Wish me luck! I heard these can be finicky, but they’re oh so cute.

I have this echeveria that has had some rough days. Indoor in windowsill. Gets a combined 12 hours sunlight+growling combo. Before I moved it got left in the rain. This caused a majority of its leaves to rot and fall. It is finally looking better again and I wanted thoughts on what to do with it. Do I take a cutting and start it over?

Update - I cut it… but do I need to cut more? This is after about an hour. Hi! I’ve had this cactus for 17 years… it’s the baby of my dad’s cactus and has flowered and birth new cacti once (in 2023 or so). It was looking just fine in late Aug, but it now has a lot of black on the base. The obvious answer is root rot, which Dr. Planta also suspects, but it’s not soft at all. I read online that it could be corking as well. We’ve been getting short, heavy rain this summer, so even though I haven’t watered it much - overwatering is possible. Any insights? Thank you!

I recently bought this cool bookcase from ikea and I realized it had perfect space for my cacti collection. Installed a grow light from Amazon and I’m in love :)
