I am a new plant parentâŠaccording to the app my pink panther needs partly sun partly shade. My sunroom is facing south-west that gets lots of afternoon sun. Would it be too bright for pink panther? If I want the color to be more saturated, do I give it more sun? Less sun? Or fertilizer?

Eve's Needle, Cane Cactus or something else? Anyone know? Hate it when they're not marked and LeafSnap and Picture Those gives me two different answers.

Can I get some help identifying these succulents? They were party favors at the baby shower of a friend of a friend and donated to me since the friend who attended doesnât keep plants đ
I know the lighter one is a type of echeveria, and the darker one is some sort of sedum or sempervivum, I think?
Hi there! Can anyone please help me with an ID for this plant I got today? Iâd also appreciate some tips on how I can help it adjust and thrive! đ„° Thank you!

My hedgehog aloe is going to produce a flower. Can anyone show me a picture of one, because I canât tell if the pictures online are of the right aloe.

So a friend of mine has a succulent thatâs in pretty bad condition. She was frequently overwatering it in the past before I gave her some advice. I told her this is probably some kind of disease, but does anyone know what this is specifically?

I love this fishbone cactus so much. It lives in my office window and this lovely and fragrant bloom greeted me yesterday morning.

I went away on a trip and didnât realize how much the sun had shifted and was no longer giving adequate light to my Echeveria. Both of them stretch way out and then one fell over. When I found it I realized the majority of the roots tore off when it tipped. Itâs got about an inch of stalk with no leaves so I am wondering if I can just bury that part in the dirt and have it reroot or do I have to just pick off the leaves and start entirely new propagations?
It is now under a plant light for winter so hopefully it quits getting taller.

Mail day. I ordered these from Mountain Crest Gardens. The bright Haworthia and Lithops were bonus items because Halloween. This purchase started off with the Tephrocactus and went from there. Flowers that smell like carrion are in my future with this cutie Huernia thuretii. đđžđ€ą

Have a variegated prickly pear here that on and off looks like this. Should I repot?
Snowstorm
Should I repot my turtles? Sheâs starting to bald on half the pot. Iâve found a shallow terracotta pot (2â deep; 5â wide) that I want to put her in but sheâs currently in a 2.5â nursery pot. Sheâs my fave so I wanna do right by her. She doesnât hang (yet) sheâs always on this table and I only pick her up gently to bottom water her.

What is this??
I repotted all my cacti in early August and all of them shot up, rather quickly, but I picked this one up and saw that at the bottom⊠could it be root bound. I donât remember its roots looking like thatâŠ

I was thoroughly impressed with the root systems in these two so they both got an upgrade. I took a ton old leaves off too so hopefully we get a prettier rosette

Hello! Iâve never had much luck with succulents.. but I was feeling adventurous today and got «Boo! » a ghost plant!!! I combined and repotted them together! I watered and am crossing my fingers, nose and toes that heâll bloom for me! How long does it usually take to see a bloom?
Thanks

Iâve had an indoor/outdoor test going on and have brought 2 Mammillarias inside. Hoping Iâve made the right decision. On top, Hahnianas, left inside under a grow light and the right one has been outside all year south facing. On the bottom, Bocasanas, left inside under a grow light and right outside all year east facing. Side note, neither Old Lady on top has ever flowered but the Powder Puff on the bottoms both have (left one flowers white).
