Hey Y’all! I need all the tips and tricks to help grow my echeverias!! “The frosty queen and princess” They have been inside, with little sunlight. I have no bright windows in my house. They were watered today and now I have put them outside, under the roof so maybe they won’t get beat by the sun, it’s about 95° right now in Louisiana.

First action I’ve seen from Granite since I got the lil guy! He started with fully closed inner leaves and firm green outer leaves. Now his inner leaves have opened a bit and those outers are giving up…pretty sure everything is just natural life cycle stuff.

Should I cut back?

I’m repotting this snake plant that had the largest two leaves die off but still had smaller leaves sprouting. I took it out of the soil and found them all connected. Should I separate them and put them in separate pots or keep them together. I’m also worried about the orange parts of the plant being a sign of some sort of problem.

ID help please. The first picture is from 4 years ago when I first got it. Planta ID’ed it as a balloon cactus. At the time, it did look like it, but not as much anymore. AI says it’s either a blue torch or woolly torch, but I don’t think it’s either of those. Someone on Reddit suggested a parodia warasii, which is a possibility. TIA

My newest addition! What variety is he!? What color flower might I expect? Any advice and tips welcome!

I found what looks like a mushroom growing/hiding in my Zygo cactus. Is this normal? Should I be worried? And is there anything I should be doing to prevent this from happening if it’s a problem?

My mama Easter Lily cactus puts out many babies all year long. As I have tried to remove some of the babies and start new pots they are becoming sun stressed. If these are full sun loving cacti, you would think they could handle the Arizona sun. I have since moved the young transplants to my covered porch and they seem to be fine. Mama has survived sun stress for years and keeps popping out babies and blooming each year. Any idea why a cactus would sun stress so easy? I rarely fertilize and water every three weeks or so during summer - that is unless the monsoon rains beat me to it.

I inherited this cactus from my mom - who was gonna just let cold weather kill it! I stuck it in my west facing window and it loves its home! This is the fourth flowering in 3 years and there’s 3 more flower stalks coming. Love this little guy!

Hi everyone! I just got this beautiful succulent from a friend for my birthday but I’ve never been able to keep a succulent alive. Any recommendations for a happy and healthy plant?

Just finished repotting my succulent plants. They were in the same soil I gave them when I first started caring for plants. I placed my jade plant and a plant I can’t remember what its name is (if anyone knows please tell me). I was also able to get two propagation cups from one plant, misted and covered for humidity. I also want to prune my jade plant but I’m not sure what the right place to do that is. Any tips?
