What do I do with the dried up flowers? Leave it alone or cut them all off?
How do I fix this guy? Get a stick and prop him up or chop and prop? And how do you chop and prop this one? Thanks for any advice!
Hello! We just bought this dragon fruit from the hardware store garden center about a week ago. I know it has spider mites because I see webs so I’ve been spraying it with neem oil (that’s why it looks wet right now) but I feel like there’s probably some other problems and I’ve just started noticing these orange spots and I can’t figure out what they are. Any ideas? What can you tell me about the health of this plant? I tried the diagnostic tool, but it didn’t help.
I have a gollum something that is getting pretty lop sided, if I take off that part on the left how can I propagate it? Thank you!
I never get tired of seeing a beautiful flower on a rugged and natural cactus.
This plant has been happy for months. I live in Los Angeles where succulents thrive outdoors year round. It’s in a pot near a north-facing wall where it gets a mix of sun and very bright light. Recently the leaves have gotten these black marks. I’m not sure what’s going on. Thoughts or advice?
Time for these babies to get indoor. They've grown outdoor basking in full sun for 6 months.
One-month update! How is it looking?
This is my Silverball Cactus she’s supposed to bloom a flower in the middle. I’ve had her for a year and she hasn’t grown much. The other day the enter thing fell over out the pot. I dug a hole in the center & tried replanting it but it’s not staying. Any help? Should I repot with new soil & rocks? Thanks you for your help!
I woke up this morning and found this growing on my cactus… does anyone know what this could be?
The first bloom on my Monkey Tail! 🫶🏻 So beautiful
Haven’t had this plant long. Had these yellow areas appear after I watered her a couple days ago. She was dry when I watered her. I don’t know if it’s connected but before this she grew an orange “appendage?” thing that then withered away in a few days. Any thoughts? I love her and don’t want to lose her 💚
I have two ghost plants that I just got a few weeks ago. Some of the leaves have dried out. I was wondering if the problem was it hasn’t been replanted yet, because I am going to do that in a few weeks. And/or if it’s because of a different reason.
Since moving ALOE 2 to the front of the porch, the leaves have moved directions and I think it looks better! What do yall think?
Why is my succulent’s leaves turning yellow? Thoughts???? ***update*** I have pulled it out of the one pot and moved it somewhere else. We did have a lot of rain this week (anyone in N.C. knows) and a lot of it was when I was at work so I couldn’t move any of my plants away from the rain. They sit in a screened porch. That particular one was damaged in shipping anyway so I didn’t have much hope for it to begin with but its twin had a flower trying to bloom and still is doing amazing.
So I need some help. I have this ghost plant that drop some leaves during the winter, and I propagated them and they are looking great. They have a few new babies and I’m expecting more to develop. But the parent plant is very leggy now. Should I cut all these stems and replant them? Here are some pictures of the plant parent plant and the new sprouts.
This is my daughter’s moon cactus (I think). I’m not normally a cactus mom, so I’m not sure what to do with it. The bottom looks like it has some sort of discoloration or rot, but it is not mushy at all - it is completely dry. The marking is around most of the bottom (the base pictures are two different sides). I’ve never heard of an underwatered cactus and I did water it about 12 days ago. It sits in the sun in our bay window and gets very bright light all day. What is the dry mark by the bottom? Is this something I should be concerned about? The soil is dry and planta says that I should water it today, but before I do that, I just wanted to weigh in and see how to take care of this plant. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Found this big boy at CVS! Why does he seem dusty? What is this? Should I clean him off and how?
Succulents, So- my succulents have died (i wasn’t doing the best job) so i finally got rid of them- any suggestions for new succulents that will be good for this pot?
Hi! I’m new to the succulent game. I put together this mini-garden, and was wondering if I should water it now (immediately after repotting) or wait a few days? On-line advise seems to be split between waiting and not waiting. Going to add some white pebbles on top to finish this up.
