Should I move these? I just added them to Planta, and it’s saying the deck is too dark. It gets bright indirect light until the sun gets over the trees in the backyard; bright direct sun for 3 hours or so until the sun gets behind the roof. They both are very healthy. I’m wondering if either is stretched. Thanks!

My under-appreciated Snake Plant is popping off. Its little sidekick (Senecio articulatus) is also doing alright, as well.

Can anyone help me ID this succulent? I think it’s Echeveria but want to be sure so I select the right care schedule…

Hello/help! I was repotting my cacti, Mr Cacti, for the first time (I probably should have done it a few years ago, but I was very new to house plants then). I put him in a nice new Wrendale pot I brought recently (so glad it came in handly and I did not just buy it because it looked really nice (I have a Wrendale obsession)) but anyway. I noticed the bottom of Mr Cacti was a yellowish colour and there were some white parts on the main body of the plant. The soil was a little moist (sorry for those of you who hate that word, I am running out of synonyms!) which I think is the problem. It was hard to tell how much water I was giving him when watering as the pot was so small. What I am going to do is leave the soil to dry for a bit, but of course as he is repotted supposedly you are meant to insure there is enough water. Other than that, Mr Cacti is okay. But please help, he is my first plant baby and I just lost my baby aloe vera, Tauriel jr., and a few months before that my poinsettia Mimi, I cannot bear to loose another. Also, sorry for writting so much, I am known for writing war and peace. 🤣😭🌵 PS. Ignore the little dent in the side of Mr Cacti, that is where he fell off of my window sill during a storm once, long story.

Cactus is growing after years! I bought this little guy as a first plant for my son. He turned into a teenager who never opens his curtains, so I rescued the cactus, which had stayed literally the same for about four years. It now lives on my grow light shelf, and I repotted it into a terracotta pot with a much looser soil, which means I can water it a bit more often. It’s also had some fertilizer. And - it’s growing! I didn’t know it did that. This is April to now. Does anyone know what kid it is? I thought it would grow round, not up…

So I have a pachyveria succulent that is underneath a grow light that is on for 18 hours and it is still stretching as if if it’s not getting enough light. I know I need to cut it and propagate to deal with current stretching but any tips for preventing it from stretching again?

Does anyone water their succulents from the bottom. I just started and I researched but I'd like info from real experience. Please share

This is growing well. Quite a bit of new growth. My question concerns the edema on top. Would it be ok to cut the center top off and put a dab of Kiki paste on it, to encourage new top growth? Thanks, y’all!

My eternal Haworthia truncata bloom. Haworthia give the most outrageous "Hi, did you see me, bees/moths/bats?" I'm well aware how etoliated it is, but I don't dare disturb it; there are shorty blooms and new eyes popping under the long leaves. I'm pleased as punch.

Since it is so close to the shower, I noticed his soil was a little damp. Should I keep him there? Make sure he doesnt get any water on him? Reduce his amount of water he gets when I water him? plz lemme knowwww 🫶🫶🫶 ps, the photo on the right is him now, and the left is him last time I showed u guys him, does he look better??? I know I definitely need to repot her. If I cut the stalks in half and put them in the soil with rooting medium will they take and will the bottom section get more branches?

I inherited this golden barrel cactus earlier this year. How do I re-pot this sucker without ripping up my hands - any suggestions?

Hello! So I am BRAND new to planting I know basically nothing about it. However for a while I have been wanting to grow my own rosemary, sage, lavender, and aloe. I just got this beauty (Aurora) from a nursery yesterday. I repotted it and as soon as I put it in this pot, one of the leaves looked like this. I don’t know what I should do. Should I rip it out or is it OK and what is causing it and how do I fix it?
