For teach appreciation week, I received this cute little pot of succulents. I did some research but found contradicting info on when to water, if I should transfer to a bigger pot, sun light etc.
So I’ve kept it in its original pot, soil and all, and watered every 7-10 days. It has seemed to double in size already. But I feel like it’s also crumbling/ getting spots of rot or breakage already.
The flowers look super dehydrated. But I’ve never seen flowers on a succulent before so maybe they are supposed to look dried up?
Any help would be appreciated! I’d love to be able to keep this baby alive as it was my first given to me as an appreciation give in my dream job!
You may have to zoom in. There are some yellow spots on the true green stems that I consider rot or breakage. And there is definitely breakage on the grayish purple flat leaf succulent towards the back.
Thanks for any advice

Please help 🪴 I have this big one… it’s a mix of different plants/succulents. I feel like they need more love and care and possibly be separated and I don’t know where to begin because that one has spikes lol I could probably cut some what do ya think 🤔?

I don’t know what to do with this plant, it doesn’t look very healthy and the other parts of it has fallen off. Any ideas?

Hi all!! I just got this gifted end of May to kick off my start of being a plant mom again. I might be watering too much? I’ve watered twice a little dribbles out of my Stanley cup since I’m scared lol! Any tips are appreciated! I already took off these dead leaves to help him grow!

Hi all,
I have a succulent I haven’t been able to identify exactly. I am very new to this but used a few different plant identifier apps and good old google and I’m getting many different answers and none look quite right. Apps all tell me its an echeveria but I’m not sure what variety and it also looks taller and more spread out than most echeverias which look more squat and sense so me. Anyone able to ID it? Thanks!

Hi! My friend was given this as a clipping a while back but has no idea what it is. I’ve tried scanning it in the app and doing reverse image searches but nothing that’s come up is looking similar. Can anyone help a non-plant person out? Thanks!!

Hey! I need to re-pot my dragon fruit, what kind of soil should I buy from the store? Anything else I should know before re-potting it?

Hey! I recently bought this Aloe and this specific leaf was somewhat bent when I got it, but I left the house to go on a date, and when I came back I found that a family member accidentally snapped the front of it. The back is still intact (as seen in the photo), but i’m not sure what to do with it. I added this bit with toilet paper to temporarily hold it together until I have more feedback. Should i remove it? Should I keep it? How should I care for it? Thanks!

What’s your go-to succulent/chunky soil mix??
Do you doctor up a bag of something or go totally from scratch? I’ve heard some succulents can stick with completely inorganic material?

Started a lot of these a couple years ago from propagating, most of the direct sunlight in my windows is blocked out by trees so they’ve had to stay grow under lights most of the time. My favorite part of the house to be in 😊

So I’m creating a little succulent assortment and I was wondering if anyone has any tips to help the grow faster :)

And one more of my Copper Spoons. They are grown in a west facing window in my basement. Lighting is everything for successful succulent growth.

Watering day. This is my donkey tail. Which is in desperate need of a repot but I can’t bring myself to do it. They can be fragile and temperamental. I grow it inside year round in an east facing window.

This is my firecracker plant that I repotted yesterday after my dogs knocked over and broke the planter it was in. One reason I love this firecracker plant is it has been so easy to grow, if it stretches out I just behead it and stick it back in the soil. That’s what I did with it yesterday. It’s about 10 years old.

So my sister left on her mission leaving me to care for her plants, but I have no clue what they are. I know that they are cacti but no idea what kind😅.
