Alright my cactus expertsâŠI need all your advice and tips! I was just gifted this little guy and have no clue how to properly care for him. I have several succulents so I know it isnât much different. But I still have some questions. What size pot should I put him in? Do I have to leave those arms or is it okay to cut and plant them all together? Lastly, anyone know what kind this is?

Hello! I need help with my cactus here. I have had it for at least 2 years now, and when I got it there were flowers on it and it looked good! Then I had someone else repot it who was supposed to know how to, and it has not grown much since then. I tried reporting it myself a few months back (and I was shocked to see that there was nothing really there for roots, maybe 3/4 of an inch. I didnât know if that was normal or not so I just put it in new soil in the same pot and back in the window), but there was still no progress with it growing or having flowers on it. Unfortunately, it recently got caught on the curtain and fell out of the pot, which allowed me to see that there were hardly any roots still. And still not looking healthy I donât think, and no flowers, but I donât know anything about this plant. It also keeps leaning no mater how many times I try to center it, which I assume is because it has no roots? Help please!
Happy one year birthday to June! Sheâs moved into her mamaâs pot and catching up really fast đ„łđ±
Does anyone know what this is? It looks like some type of a tree - I got it from a cactus/succulent seller but donât remember what the name is.
hey plant peeps! i thought i would share this awesome succulent wall i found while on a trip recently. itâs sooo cool!
Can anyone tell me why this has happened to my succulent? Since February it has dropped a bunch of leaves and theyâve gotten much wider. Itâs in a west facing window because thatâs the brightest in my room but I can move it to the south facing in the common area if needed.
Helpppp! Does anyone know what this cactus is called?
Rescued what I think is a prickly pear cactus from a communal bin store earlier in the year. Repotted it in the right soil and have been watering as required and fertilizing. When I found it only had the main paddle and the right hand paddle. They both looked a bit diseased but Iâve checked it for parasites ect and canât spot anything. I usually have it in the sunniest place in the house which gets lots of direct sun light. During the course of spring and summer the left hand green paddle grew in quite quickly and has some spine growth. The other two still donât, the cactus is clearly still healthy as Iâm seeing new growth but the other two panels look diseased. What do people think about the other two older paddles? Feel somewhat invested so would atleast want to treat them if it was a disease. If itâs just old though I might consider taking the right paddle and repotting to allow room for a newer more healthy looking paddle to grow
So I recently discovered that my elephant bush and ghost plants had grown some mold on the tops of their soil. I decided to get rid of half the soil and replace it for my elephant bush and just completely replace the soil for my ghost plant since itâs pretty small. I thought I was watering them when they were completely dry but they were still pretty damp at the bottom of their pots so that kinda sucks. Other than that they look ok and Iâm letting them dry out for as long as possible. Iâm keeping an eye on my other succulents just in case but the others are fairly new and have only been watered maybe a couple of times. Decided to get a moisture meter to prevent this from happening again. Any other advice for my plants?
The evolution of my Halsey. Super red, blossomed a lot, displayed orange, and then mealybugs messed everything up. I trimmed her down to the nubs. Under a strong Mars Hyro light with a smattering of sun, sheâs gone green.
Recently got my first cactus! Any care tips are greatly appreciated!

Help!! I was watering my plants and I found him like this! I recently watered with mosquito dunks because I have a fungus gnat issue. I donât know if that has anything to do with it. He gets plenty of sun and I donât water often. I have separated from the rest of my plants.

Hi there! I am moving with these two beautiful succulents and a bit nervous for the long car ride with them, any tips or suggestions would be awesome!
Hey! I have a rat tail and dog tail cactus that I moved outside this summer and the top of the rat tail (first pic) is flimsy now. How can I transition them back inside without shocking them?
Hi! Any idea what I should do here? I thought I had killed these babes a few months ago, but I moved the pot outside and these cuties appeared! Iâm trying to be a better plant mom so any advice is welcome :)
Hey everyone! I got a whale fin and Iâm absolutely in love. Sheâs busting out of her nursery pot and Iâm so excited to see whatâs in there when I repot next week. I see that itâs typical for these snake plants to only come with one leaf, this one has lots. Is it a problem to allow it to grow into a larger plant with many leaves?
Could you please help me identify these succulents? I just got them today but have no idea what kind the are.
