Does this Christmas Cactus need repotting?
Iâm getting miracle grow plant food so I can start using a fertilizer but should I get a specific fertilizer for my succulents or do they get a fertilizer?
Hey iâm new to here but my Lola Echeveria that i grew from an old one on the app is saying to water every 8 days? usually i water it every two weeks but idk đ
I just got my first cactus for my birthday. I do know you need to let them dry out ALOT between watering but idrk much else. Any tips are helpful!
I just got this cactus for my birthday, I named her Amber. đâ¨đŞ´
Finally got all my new plants repotted. Hopefully they do well. Mostly succulents and cacti.
Help!! My kalanchoe looks horrible on one side but has new growth on the other side. I want to help my plant baby but donât know what to do đŁ I donât have a set spot in my house for her so Iâve just kept moving her around.
Does anyone know what kind of cactus this is? Iâm thinking rat tail. I know she needs more light so she might be reaching for sunlight more than showing her true form. Sheâs still a babyâgot her in April as an established start. Only started fertilizing her a couple of weeks ago because I didnât have cactus fertilizer yet.
Does anyone know the name of this succulent? My identifier has lost its mind and literally thinks it a rose. I know itâs a succulent just not sure what type.
Little Silver Cholla nub taken from a soggy winter tree in St. George, Utah. When you read âlikes heat, full sunâ this is the plant that really applies to. The pic with 2 is when I planted (RIP cholla number 2). It currently looks like a rhinoceros beetle. #silvercholla
Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew what type of succulent this plant is? I grew it from a small cutting from my friends mother plant. Neither of us know itâs name and all plant identifiers say different plants. Any help would be greatly appreciated. đđą
I am having trouble with this guy! The rest of my cacti are doing well and none are having this issue. Not sure whatâs going wrong. I donât over water (if anything maybe under water?) im in Florida 9B and itâs in the high 90s here. The flesh on this guy is very âfloppyâ. No rot that I can see, no âmushâ, just soft and floppy. Input?
Hi I have no idea what this plant is, does anyone know?
Do you think my âkosmic kaktusâ //pink Haworthia is dead? I know it grew for a while because you can see the green bits at the bases, but it hasnât done much lately and itâs roots are not looking good. A friend of mine gave this to me and I am afraid Iâve killed it. The baby ones off to the sides of the bigger part are very wiggly, and tip over easily. I repotted it a couple of weeks ago from its slightly smaller grow pot to the terra-cotta one it came inside of, using succulent soil, but it doesnât seem to have helped. Is it too late for this to survive? If not, what can I do? For some reason I always manage to kill succulents and cacti đ
Sooo I have a question. I just bought this string of dolphins about a week or two ago and I put it in this little planter. It is thriving and growing like crazy, Iâm starting to think the pot is too small for it now. Iâm wondering if itâs too early to move it to a bigger pot even though I just repotted it about a week ago?
Hello all, I have this turbinicarpus schmiedickeanus with many offshoots. (more on the other side) I would love to be able to propagate these and add one to a pot for a friend. Everything I have read says they propagate from seeds. Does anyone have an insight if these will also propagate from cuttings? Thank you guys in advance for any advice!
Just bought this cute little Zebra Plant. Canât think of any good names for it. Any recommendations?
I was just gifted/saved a bunch of succulents - two indoor succulent gardens, a variegated jade tree, and a desert rose. The most light I have available is an east window thatâs already full of philodendrons, begonias, etc., so Iâm a bit concerned about getting them enough light. Will they do ok under grow lights about 4-5â from the window? Iâm especially concerned about the jade and desert rose, which Iâm obsessed with. Any suggestions?
In a hanging basketâŚhave plans to put in a larger basket so they can spread out more
Older pic from the point where I started thinking, âOkay, you donât have any more room.â Note also that, other than my tiny murderous cholla, the prickly pad in the white square cup is the one that gave me the worst physical damage of any. I carried it home (long story) in my coat pocket, and It released hundreds of tiny fishhook needles into my leg. My face got tingly. Learned that lesson: small spines from prickly pear = do not touch.
