Hi everyone, my name is Lio! and I just now became a plant mom for my birthday about three weeks ago and I just wanna find out what kind of plants my plants are so I can give them the proper care!! Also I haven’t re-potted any of them so if you guys have any suggestions please send them my way! if any of you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance!!!💗
Hi! Anyone on here able to ID this guy for me? Tag says “seneci/euphorb” but so many different things come up. The ID on here didn’t even look like the plant itself. TIA 🩵
when this is done flowering- will the stems fall off? also will the big part stay spread out or will it go back to being tightly spread?
Is it possible to save the rest of this grafted cactus?
Grew so tall
Recently i became plant daddy two succulents I am beginner any tips will help
I have a totally unexpected new green baby!! 💚💚💚 I ordered some succulent cuttings in March, and one of the leaves had broken off the golden sedum. It was my first attempt with cuttings so I just thought, “Why not plant it?” So I did. You can’t even see that leaf in the very first picture (top left) in March. Now I’m getting ready to transfer these guys to succulent soil and nicer pots… and look what popped up over the weekend!! The top right pic shows how tiny this little thing is, and the bottom shows a closeup with a macro lens. You can still see the original leaf! 🌟
Can anyone tell me what type of succulent this is? It grows little babies at the end of its leaves and I now have about 8 of them 😄 this one is the only one that grows babies, the others are more green and some are bigger than this one.
My Mammillaria muehlenpfordtii is clumping and getting weird! This one has been through the year of me figuring out how to keep these things alive. She (Siouxsie) survived my crazy terrarium idea, full sun in July, winter window placement, repotting due to bad soil and a too-big pot, etc.
I am new to plants (I consider). I generally strayed away because I tend to kill plants and I love plants, so don’t want to keep that up. I got my first cactus in 2021 and I have to say, I have quite a collection of succulents now. I love them. I love in a very dark part of the US in the winter so they’ve never grown much or thrived well. But holy moly do grow lights work wonders!!!! (I told you I am a noob). Just a month under a grow light and things are happening with my cacti that I’ve not seen in two years. I am obsessed, haha. My favorite plant is still my first cactus - a Mammillaria elongata. It’s hot so many fingers growing. Even the one that fell off last year when my cat knocked it out of the window—- it’s starting to stretch!! Fun stuff!! I really enjoy cacti. What’s everyone’s favorite? Any suggestions?
My string of hearts loves the outside! It always shows it’s most vibrant pinks outside during the warmer months. 🩷🩷🩷
Can anyone help me identify this cactus? Bought it at a plant store a year ago. Thanks
Succulent haul!
I’m pretty new to being a plant parent. But I’ve been watching this baby spring up for the last month, and she finally graced me with some flowers! Now what? 😂 how long do they stay in bloom? Do I just cut them off when they die? Again, super new to plant parenthood. I appreciate any advice 😂
My daughters and I rescued a clearance rack mixed pot and found this little orange stowaway. I know it’s a moon cactus… but can I propagate from just the top like this? (There is no moon cactus in the mixed pot)
Hello everyone, I’m new here and I’m currently adding to my succulent & cacti garden 🪴😍 On Mother’s Day I added to it. Here are a few photos of my babies 🙃💚🌵
I’m horrible with succulents. I always overwater and I think this one may be done for. Some of it still looks okay but some is brown and hard/dried up. Can I just re-pot? Try to propagate? (Not sure how to to that lol) Any tips are appreciated!
Hi! I’m a new cactus owner and recently my cactus sprouted little babies. Are these flowers or just new leaves? thanks!
Y’all I’m a long time house plant addict and first time cactus lover. This summer I went out of my comfort zone and made a cactus garden on my balcony and it is thriving! My favorite are the Easter Lily Cacti! And my Prickly Pear is finally doing something! I know it’s a long time away, but any advice for winter? Will some of these do ok as indoor plants in Nashville? And any idea why some Bunny Ears Cacti are yellow and others are white?
