Just loving these plants at the moment 🪴
I love them and their planters! 😍
What’s not to love when it comes to succulents!?🥰
Cry with me
Here is my twizzle fizzle second seafo got her getting full after noon sun and behind her is another gross coming up of leaves so it’s basically two little bulbs in there it’s pretty cool can’t wait to see I’ll update you
Got this cactus around a year ago and it did fine up until a few months ago- anybody know what the issue is (or what type of cactus it is, since it came unlabeled)? I suspect it's some form of root rot or overwatering, but I removed all of its rotting roots and changed its soil two months ago and the issue persisted. I have also tried not watering it for longer periods of time- no change. I suck at cacti/succulents, so I would appreciate if anybody could help out! :)
My little Succulent bunch! It all started with my Dolphin Necklace (I call him Finn), then figured he’d like some friends! :)
Want your plant to grow? Don’t look at it for a few weeks.
Can you help me identify this guy?
Meet Gerald! Just got him, any tips & tricks are appreciated!
Cactus outdoors in Southern Utah (St. George). The bunny ear belongs to a friend’s dad, and it’s outside almost year-round. Pretty inspirational.
Outdoor cactus in Northern Utah. These live in that extremely hot location, and have gone completely insane over the summer. They were covered in two feet of snow last December. Note: This is my mom’s neighbor, but I have never been introduced. Come on, mom.
Someone please help my Echeveria dropped all of its leaves and I have no idea what to do!!! Thanks so much!
This is a prickly pear I just snipped and planted it
RIP to my echeveria colorata. Lost her to root rot after repotting just a week ago. Apparently she was NOT happy with the slightly different mix as that was the only thing changed. Noticed a mushy bottom leaf while watering a neighbor and then saw her center leaves were completely black. Hoping some of her healthy leaves propagate. 😔
My mountain fire succulent is blooming again. Just started opening today and a few more buds developing. I typically let it bloom and then cut it right back to a short stub and start over. A very resilient plant.
It’s already cold enough here in central Canada to trigger my thanksgiving cactus to bloom. About 50 blooms set to open in the next week or so but this one decided today was a good day.
I can’t even go to the market at 7 am without running into mass quantities of plant “decor” that needs saving. (Note: Coffee and beef broth will not be combined.) This whole section is one big tragedy. There are so many amazing plants, all soaked. My brain was going in a lot of directions figuring out how to walk away or dive in. I decided on this Pringlei (pringlii?), which is a mature version of one I spent a year trying to save. Just walking up and down the aisles, getting “nice cactus” from people stocking the shelves.
Hi, I was wondering what soil I should be using for my succulents? The mixture I've been using is compost, sand and small stones but the soil stays wet for 5 days sometimes... any tips?
Help with cactus ID? :)
