Hey everyone! I don’t know much about cacti and succulents, but somehow I’ve kept this fairy castle alive for a few years now (with lots of ups and downs!) Today I noticed these little protrusions - are they roots? What’s happening here?

Copiapoa has been an interest of mine since I read about their adaptability in a climate often compared to Mars, the Atacama desert in Chile, where plants use coastal fog for moisture. These are slow-growing, and this little one has done pretty much nothing but be cool and make me wonder how TF I simulate a fog desert. I knocked this one over months ago and noted at least one tubular root, but what looked like bright-colored mold. And, I knocked it over again last night. Hey, guess what? The mold was a drop of baby goo that turned into these pups.
This poor thing.. I killed it about 10000000 times. I just didn’t have the heart to quit. I just looked- I’ve ignored it for a while and there’s this.. how do I let this baby start over with the new growth and get rid of the ruined parts?
What is wrong with my Echeveria Fabiola? Why is there a black leaf? It’s wet to the touch… Thanks!
Happy Friday. Also, check out Two-Face. Wanna know how that happened? It was a dark time for the Lithops, and I might have peeled that off in January when I thought they were goners. The plant itself is not rotted, just kind of deciding what to do. Go for it. I’m seeing a trend of survival of the fittest when planting clusters haha.
My Zz Raven. I’ve had him for about 3 weeks and have not watered him yet. Meter still reads a bit damp. I’ve noticed the leaves ( not the new growth) are not as black as they were.. is it a lighting issue?
Heyo! Im a new plant owner and was told to start off with succulents. I got these three today, I have done some research about them and my brother in law knows a little about plants. I was wondering if I could get any advice?
Does this look like it’s suffering from a lack of sunlight?
Thanks for the input. I removed the jade with the white spots, trimmed it back, and I think it will recover. If it was scale it seemed to have died off. Repotted and have some new propagations now.
Hi!I have this since spring and I love it. I don’t know what is called and how can I take a good care of this plant. Any suggestions?
Hi there! My partner bought me this cutie for my birthday back in June and since then we have been going back and forth on what kind of plant this is. I have it labeled on my page as a “mangave” but now I’m thinking it’s a zebra plant or some variation of aloe. Any thoughts?
Hello!! I’ve been propagating these echeveria leaves all summer. Need help deciding if I should pull the babies off the big leafs and replant them in soil, thoughts on next steps ??
I’m learning more and more each day. I bought pots before I knew what I know now. This pot along with one other one makes me crazy lol. The attached saucer is not for me. And honestly, to me it looks like …. lol. My plant looks happy but I dread water day because I have to tilt the whole plant to make sure water isn’t sitting in there. I measured his “waist” at 15” - so that’s a string tied around his widest part and not tightly.. what would be your pot of choice? I’d love something that sort of hugs the leaves and makes a bit of a statement on my desk. :)
Does anyone know if this is some kind of fungus? Scale? From the water? If I gently use my fingernail it kind of sluffs off… I’m so perplexed.
my cactus arm looks like it’s rotting maybe? should i cut it off?
How large does an Echeveria Agaviodes get?? When I planted this one it was 3cm wide. Now it is almost 18cm wide. I keep pulling out and moving the plants around it as it chokes them out. This variety is called Wild horse. I have tried to look up how big they usually get but can’t find too much about agaviodes size in particular.
Thought y’all might enjoy my little succulent garden. 🪴
Can some one help indentify this lil guy
So this little one caught some kind of white fungus and I had to give her a much needed haircut. I was sad because it was one of my favorite succulents since it’s purple. Two weeks in and it’s now having babies! Yay! 🔮
What is the name of this succulent? It has fuzzy leaves.
