I’m a beginner in the plant world, but I got this succulent about a week ago and it’s got this dusty look to its leaves as well as some brown spots on them as shown in photos. I’ve seen a couple gnat-like bugs on/around the plant and I’m just not sure if it’s got some sort of pest or not. Thoughts? And advice what I should do if that is the case? I’m not too keen on the idea of using insecticides…

Bunzi is drooping, a few sources say that drooping slightly means lack of water, but I just watered Bunzi yesterday! Please help :(

I just got this little guy from my local plant shop but they didn’t know what it was. Does anyone have any ideas?

I’ve just bought this Aleo Vera and I am not sure whether I should repot it or not? It looks like it is quite big compared to the pot.

I got this succulent a few weeks ago and repotted it, and now I’m concerned, it had leaves falling off and they became brown and gummy like, and I believe it is etiolating. It is not right next to the window but it is a few feet away and I’m wondering if I should get a grow light to provide more light or LEDs or something.

What kind of cactus is this? I was thinking Easter Lily but I’m not sure.

What kind of potting soil should i get for succulents???

I’ve had this plant for about 7 months and every picture I’ve seen shows a way smaller plant. I care a lot about this plant can someone please tell me if she’s healthy. I feel like I should propagate the babies but I’m not sure and I don’t want to kill her!

I went out for a burger with friends. Lowe’s is three blocks away from the restaurant. The Euphorbia anoplia wouldn’t stop sending out distress calls, and here I am. ps I love this little IKEA cart. The bottom shelf is reserved for seeds if I feel like growing my own.

Since I have kept my first succulent alive for 3 years, I have treated myself to three new babies. They just came in the mail today. I’ve been instructed by the seller to let them breath for ~3 days and then plant in damp soil. I’ve got their pots all ready and watered the soil; I plan to pot them on Saturday or Sunday.

I was at Lowe’s to get some tape and stumbled upon treasure - that I almost missed due to it being on the bottom shelf. These were $20 each, which isn’t too bad, but enough to calm an irresponsible idea. The Ming Things were very tempting. Okay, everything was tempting.

Happy holidays everyone! This little guy has popped up next to my snake plant 🥰 What do I do with it? Do I let it be for a bit? Any advice appreciated as haven’t done this before!

I grew a monstrose/semi monstrose Trichocereus bridgesii from seed. It's cultivar is yalla bone x tbm clone a from Pacific Cactus. I'm hoping it grows columnar/long form. I'm incredibly excited to be growing this and thankful to my cactus mentor who gifted the seedlings to me

I got this cactus a few weeks ago and it came with this brown spot, I’m wondering if anyone could tell me what it is and how to treat it?

Can anyone help me me identify what my succulent is? I’ve had it almost 3 years, left is when I first got it and right is now... Please be kind, I’m just now realizing it’s maybe not getting the sun it should 🥹

My boyfriend’s cactus was presumed dead and then it grew a friend, but it still looks to be in poor condition…help? I assume we should cut the small arm off and propagate it?

I was given this string of dolphins to look after for a bit by a family member. They bought it fully grown from a market and kept it outside for the three-ish months they had it. Never watered. There were clovers growing in it for a while and it was flowering when I got it. I’m not sure what to do now, I’ve been watering it once every 14 days and the top growths have opened up for more light while the bottom strings (and the strings directly near the soil) have shriveled up dolphins on them. The plant is in a chair right next to a window, but it will be higher up soon once I put my new plant stand together. The top is so thick I can’t get in there to wrap any vines around the soil to encourage fullness. I’ve trimmed a lot of the strings and new growths have started where I chopped, so what do I do? Should I buy a grow light for it? Chop a lot off? Leave it be? Increase watering?
