My baby boy Plantler isnât doing so hot, and hasnât been since his roommate died. His leaves are moist which makes me think heâs been drowned. Iâm currently reviving him by misting his leaves, changing his location, and not watered him. The effects should show in about a week. I have not attempted repotting yet. Any tips on what to do? #SavePlantler

Anyone know what this is called and is it a succulent?
Tila
To me she looks wrinkled what can I do to make her thrive?
Do I need to re pot? Or am I watering too much or not enough? Iâve never had a cactus to care for.

Iâm not sure what this plant is. I have a plant identifier app but all it told me was it was a stone crop. If someone could give me some thoughts on what it would be, that would be great

The apical meristem of my pineapple rotted. I was worried it would perish but I recently noticed this new growth! đ Iâve been growing this from the top of a pineapple I ate almost 2 years ago.

Donkey tail. I think sheâs pretty happy. Any time that a leaf (or whatever they are called) drops off, I have always stuck them right back in the pot which has made it nice and full

Do any of you know what kind of succulent this is? I got it at Trader Joeâs

Can I prop aloe? This one is getting a little tall and heavy. I wasnât sure if I should cut it, repot it, prop it. Thanks!

Christmas cactus, I think itâs just as pretty now when itâs not blooming as it is in November/December when it does bloom. This plant came from a cutting from a friend about 15 years ago. Sheâs one of my favorites

At one time I saw the living stones at my local Home Depot, but now that I want them I canât find them. I go periodically to check to see if they have them. Well yesterday I found a couple of cacti that had broken off their main plant and were on the stand, which would end up being tossed away. So I did what any good plant mom would do. I rescued them but while moving the tray that other plants were in to get the one cactus, I found several more orphans. Now I have a bunch of cacti I hope will root, not to mention my greenhouse tray of seeds I planted. I may end up with a large family of cacti if the seeds actually grow too.

I sent the pic featuring last weekâs new trio to a friend. His response was, âItâs ZZ Top.â
Now that Iâm not starry-eyed 24/7 over the two Copiapoa, I took a minute to repot this one. The root ball is pretty big, and shaking out the loose old soil wasnât A) happening without unnecessary surgery B) necessary, as I know the shopâs default soil recipe đ. I added some clay balls as a bottom layer and pumice to fill in the gaps.
ps Note the holes in the bottom of the pot. Donât fear the Dremel, as it changed my game. My game, though, is a semi intentional attempt to have something akin to the miniature map of the town in Beetlejuice. It just feels that way sometimes haha.

What is this? Every time I scan it I get a different name.

What kind is this? I think maybe a Sedum but not sure what variation. Thoughts? I rescued these pieces from the floor at Home Depot. Is it best to propagate these in soil or water? Obviously I currently have them in soil.

Hey everyone! Hope yâall can help me clarify/identify whatâs going on with my Pickle Plant Succulent!
For a while now, itâs base and all the leaves around the base have been dried up and brittle. (I actually think I got it that way) while the rest of it is thriving. I originally thought it was corking, so I let it be. But I just noticed that new leaves are sprouting from the dried bits! Reverse corking? Zombie pickle? đ
I usually err on the side of âmore time between wateringâ (cause I know thanks I donât, root rot for everyone!) But is this a sign that it needs more water? Or just keep doing what Iâm doing and see what happens?

Here is a case of a whim that turned into so much work only one baby is still with us. Part of my whim was inspired by learning how to use a Dremel, though; even a honey butter thimble could be a plant pot. It sure is a great photo hehe.
The pic with flowers is from a few weeks ago. Note also that Rose Quartz was the closest related species I could find in Planta. The common name is Echinopsis âMardi Gras.â

This is my kalenchoe donkeys ear plant. I went from having 1 to growing to 7. Now more babies are coming in. Can I pluck them off and plant them or let them fall off and land where they may?
