The little greenhouse in the next town over has succulents in tiny 2 inch plastic pots for only $4.99. I decided to treat myself to one, just ONE. Left with three. Lol I can always find one or two or even three there that I don't already have and I bring them home and put them in 4 inch clay pots and they're awesome. If you're in Massachusetts, it's Gordon's Florist in Ipswich.
Can anyone help me identify these little guys?😊
I brought my plants inside as the heat was starting to burn one of them, and the middle plants diceded to spread out. Does it need a bigger pot or is it trying to reach the sunlight?
Can anyone tell me what this is? I've tried LeafSnap and PictureThis and neither are giving me the right answer. When I tried LeafSnap at the store it said it was some sort of kalanchoe but now I'm not even getting that result. Frustrating!
need help identifying this succulent!!
So I e been sick all week, barely able to get from bed to couch. Today I’m trying to salvage all plants that did not die this past week. I got C.T. here about July 2020. Back then he was just one pad in this brown pot. Then in 2021 - 2022 C.T. Jr. sprouted from C.T. And Grandson C.T. was born 2022 - 2023. And each year, I asked the place where I purchased CT if I should transplant him and the answer is always if he’s not root bound then just make sure he doesn’t fall over. I do think that logic is flawed . The images attached here are of the CT family and if you expand on CT himself in the dirt, he’s just not as green healthy as he was in the past maybe it’s cause he’s older. Suggestions on what I should do ? Oh, and a question for all of the women here … What is it that your mother told you that makes you refrain from killing a man who sees that you’re sick but doesn’t take care of any of the things that you normally do while you are sick? Is there some Mother Daughter Support group for this kind of male behavior? Are the open to gay men attending? Pictures 1 and 2 here are the front and back side poses of CT on bottom and Grandson CT on top.
Just got these
This is Lofty I’ve had him 6 years. He flowers at least once a year. But a friend told me they only flower when they are stressed and he needs repotting. Is that correct? If this is correct as Lofty is already over 3 foot tall and rather heavy and big is there a way I can thin out the stems without harming him and avoid the need to repot?
Hey there! Can anyone tell me what this lovely spiny, hairy cactus is? Thanks a bunch!
what is wrong with my cactus???
Help! I snagged this silver torch cactus off a bidding wars site not noticing the huge lean going on. Do I a) cut at the bend and propagate top half? Or b) stick and string to try and pull it back straight. I’ve never taken care of a plant that’s had a lean before I’m so nervous about this one. Also am I right to continue letting it fully dry out before watering? Thanks all 🙌🏼
Nothin like a little sunshine in the morning!
My succulent just recently sprouted but she is not doing well g well at all and I’ve tried everything. Does anyone have tips to help me?
How do I save my succulent the bottom limbs keep on dying so I just take off the dead ones but it’s just getting smaller and smaller
Update, definitely mealybugs again. Just saw one moving. Treating with alcohol and pouring hydrogen peroxide mix through the soil. Why does this keep happening??? Does anyone know what this stuff is that is always on this cactus? It's my only one that does it and I've cleaned it off numerous times with alcohol but it always comes back. I'm concerned about putting it near my other cactus until I know what it is.
What is this succulent?🪴 Hello everyone! I bought this adorable succulent but I’m not sure which sedum it is. It looks like a sedum dasyphyllum, but the leaves are much smaller, less tight than sedum dasyphyllum minor and major, and you see the small stems more. I also don’t think it’s a Spanish stonecrop. What do you think? Any help would really be appreciated!🤍 (for reference, I have a five inch pot)
Please help! My little sunrise guy isn’t doing so hot… someone gave him to me and he looks aweful. I stopped his water but now what?
This plant gave me my first glimpse at cactus bloom insanity. Since, she has had a whole bunch of bug problems, and I can remember one night where I opened the garbage bin to toss her. But that size. The investment. I can beat those bugs, right? She also HATES to be moved around. Note: the bloom was 2022, not 2023.
I find this personally miraculous. Never have I ever felt comfortable that I was doing anything right for this plant until now. It just needs 🔥 pretty much.
