Well, here is a question! I acquired a Thanksgiving Cactus about two weeks ago. It was “in the back” of a local plant store. I repotted it about a week ago, and it looks healthy. However, it is simultaneously dropping some random leaves (not all) AND showing two new flower buds. Do I fertilize it, monitor it and leave it, any tips?! I’m hoping the leaf drop is just repotting stress, but it confusing to have that along with the buds! TIA!
Hey Y’all! I have a question! The Aloes where not supposed to be watered for 10 more days! But they got a ton today, because of the unplanned rain and there is more rain on the way this weekend! I plan on bringing them inside until the rain is over. Is that okay?
My Mexican snowball has produced 2 flower stems! I’m a new indoor plant mummy and I’ve had her for about a year and this is only the second time I’ve seen her do it, just really happy and thought I’d share 🥹
My echinopsis has a million tiny “branches” and I’m wondering what more I can do to promote larger growth. It’s in a south facing window and I water it pretty irregularly.
So i bought these two succulents originally while my blue tongue skinks were brumating and put them in their enclosure to grow. Both my skinks woke up early this year and they ended up trampling the plants, as skinks normally do. I took them out and potted them to see if maybe they’d come back and I got a result even better than I could’ve hoped for! One of them is growing 3 babies that are thriving and the other is growing two that are doing equally as great!! I’m so so excited to watch these continue to grow!

Anyone else find their zebra plants growing shockingly fast??? Lol I've only ever seen them itty bitty. Mine grew pretty steadily all winter with the growlights. And they seem to respond to repot almost instantly

The coolest, unexpected flowering from my sedum. 🤩 While I was obsessively waiting for one of my hoyas to bloom, this little guy decided to show off. The bloom is gorgeous. Happy spring! 🌺🌹🌼
March 31st Update! We are thriving! But now we have dark spots? Any ideas?
March 31th Update! I removed one of the leaves, very soppy and loose. But we have a new shoot! I wanted to give her direct sunlight for a while, but now I have her in the shade because she changed color. I want her dark green again! Any tips or tricks?
I will keep this one short since the last post I made received little to no assistance. How am I to plant this and will it survive?

Can I make my own cactus soil using regular soil, perlite, leca and orchid bark? I have a bunch of cuttings of rick-rack cactus/fishbone cactus that need potting :) I’m on a tight budget so I’d like to use what I have :D
