Flower!!
I underestimated how big this pot is when I got this succulent, can I still use it?
What variety of succulent is this?
Hey Planties! I have this cactus (not sure the specific species twas a gift) thatâs been slowing leaning over the past few months. It seems to be healthy, no rot in sight, but Iâve been pondering how I should repot it. I donât know if it likes to be leaning, or if I should go straight up with it. Lmk if yall have any advice, regardless im excited to repot!đđŒ
New cacti parent!! Iâve tried to id these plants but would love to share/see if anyone would have a clue as to what I am caring for!
I found this little guy in our bin store a few days ago, Iâve never been able to successfully grow a plant đ so any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
Poquito got a new pot đ„°! His sun burn hasnât gotten worse since having him inside with a grow light, we fertilized today, and heâs not dead so a win is a win đ. Louisiana sun was about to take him out before he had a chance to live. Canât wait to continue to turn my thumb green đđŸ
I found a plant!đ€Ł Planta said I had a gollum jade plant, and I remember buying it a year or two ago. But I donât remember the last time I saw it so I assumed it died last year over the several month stretch I was very sick. But I just found it!!đ„ł I have several plants that Iâm not sure I own anymore but I also have several propagations from their leaves, so I am waiting until they are bigger to see which ones they are. But they are all grapetoveria or sedums (or some similar cross) so definitely not a jade. This gollum plant has been nagging me for an update for 11 months and I keep snoozing it. đŽ I just realized this week that when I mindlessly water all the plants in the school room, I am watering two jade plants. The variegated one and another funny/stunted looking jade. Iâm always doing school with my kids as I do this, so Iâm never really paying attention to which plant. Just if it needs water. I finally registered I had that second jade up there and was really feeling crazy.đ€Ș I KNOW I didnât buy a traditional jade because as much as I wanted one, my mom had one that I was going to get a leaf from when it got bigger. She has decided to give it to me as she wasnât able to give it enough light and she knew I loved them.â€ïž But that is somewhere else. So where in the world did this jade come from?!đ€Ș On a whim, I decided to scan it on Planta and every single scan came back gollum jade.đ€Ł It has much more normal looking leaves then I remember, but I guess itâs been hiding in plain site this whole time! Apparently Iâve been mindlessly caring for it for the last year!đ
Hey everyone! Does anyone have any tips for my succulent that is shriveling? I only water it when I get a reminder from Planta⊠But it isnât growing, now the leaves look like this! đ”đđȘŽđȘ·
Hi Friends! This is a Queen of the Night (Epiphyllum Oxypetalum). I brought it home from a green house around a month ago and itâs perked up quite a bit. Still in the nursery pot as I wanted to acclimate it. I watered it for the first time last week and Iâm noticing what looks like aerial roots growing from the longest leaves on the plant. Does anyone have experience with these that can advise what I can do to help? Iâm assuming itâs to help it grow taller, have you used a moss pole? Or are these blooms? Appreciate any guidance!
My Easter cactus is dying ;(. Anyone see anything obvious to help it?
How do setup plants in Planta when you have multiple in one pot? I have them added as separate plants currently but thatâs not really working with tasks happening on different days per plant. Should I start it as just one plant?
Love sunny days, perfect for taking their progress photos
Hi all. I think this is a ripple jade. She had a lot of nice growth but about 10 leaves have dropped and now left with this. I donât think itâs been overwatered and has enough sun. Anyone have any ideas why it would drop so many leaves? Thank you!
Anyone elseâs Zebra plants getting massive stems/flowers that need a little support? đ€Ł. This is the 3rd one itâs grown (got 2 last year). Itâs amazing but every time I open the curtains Iâm petrified Iâm gonna knock it off đ€Ł x
Had to trim the lawn todayâïž

Does anyone know what this white fluffy stuff is on my echevariaâs roots? I went to water it today as per planta and the soil is all dried up so he could use a good soak. I bottom water only so perhaps itâs from that? The roots donât smell like anything so I donât think itâs root rot and theyâre not mushy. Could it be a mould?? He lives in a bright window and is otherwise very happily popping out new leaves and even got his red tips back. Dr planta again says overwatered but I only water as per its schedule (last watered on the 12th) and always lift him outta his nursery pot to check the soil wetness first. (Nursery pot has drainage, decorative pot doesnât but he get drip dried before going back in the decorative one)
Iâm not sure what happened. My plant was fine yesterday (overgrowing the pot a bit) and today it fell out and left me with this. Should I have repotted it sooner? Iâm so sad đ. Any chance of saving it? Iâve got another one thatâs doing the same thing. Was I supposed to cut it back? I donât know much about succulents⊠I was just happy that they were low maintenance. đđ€
My string of pearls is starting to look shriveled, and I noticed itâs lost some pearls from the middle of some strands. Iâm a notorious overwaterer and have already lost one to root rot. Iâve been careful not to over water this one. The soil is bone dry, maybe a little hydrophobic, last watered about 2 weeks ago. Is she just thirsty?
