I got this African Milkbush plant just this past weekend. The first photo is from when I brought it home and the 2nd photo is 2-3 hours after I watered it the next day (clearly a mistake). Can anyone give me advice on how to help bring it back to life? The top couple inches of soil feel pretty dry and so does around the drain holes on the bottom. It is in a south facing window.
Update: It’s hot as balls in Texas and it might start to rain bad tonight or tomorrow morning. Brought my Aloe and Calandiva inside. I’ve also noticed that my Calandiva has been getting weak leaves, they’re very bendy. Anything I can do about that? Maybe it was too hot outside for it..? (It was under a shade, not direct sunlight) Aloe seemed to like the sun.
When I got her (first picture) vs just this past weekend (second picture). I must be doing something right 🥹
Might anyone know what could be causing a few of the leaves on my beautiful Mother of Thousands to yellow on the tips? She’s really growing beautifully but some of the lower leaves are experiencing this issue.
I have this lil elephant bush in a pot, but I'm very new to this and I repotted it in this ceramic pot and I think I did it wrong cause the pot is a bit tall. Like, the soil line (is that a term?) where the soil ends and the plant stems start is about 1 inch below the top of the pot. This wasn't really a problem until now when Planta told me to fertilize the plant. It instructs me to avoid getting the solution onto any of the stems and leaves - and I don't see how this is going to be possible. Any suggestions? Should I add more soil and try to repot it?
I stressed my kalanchoe too much and badly sunburned her back in June. But look how much she’s recovered in just two months 🥹 I’m so proud of her
my newest succulent addition, a graptosedum ghosty. I named her opal, she’s also my last succulent purchase ( for awhile) she’s so gorgeous! she also has a lot of growth on her stem 💚
Hi! I’m new to taking care of plants. Last week, I got this pot with succulents as a gift. I was wondering if it’s alright to keep them all in the same pot. Should I assume they all need the same amount of indirect light? I have the pot by the window south facing, however, there the light doesn’t come straight to the window since there is a roof eave next to the window due to a corridor. Any suggestions on what to do? I was reading that the panda plant needs a lot of light, but maybe not as much as the other ones. I also noticed the leafs of the panda plant are bended facing down. Is that normal? I’d really appreciate your advice!
ey plant friends! 👋🏾 so i never even thought about the possibility that our ric-rac cactus could flower, but look at these! at least 9 buds from this view. anyone have suggestions on how to help the flowers thrive? thought i’d stop here before googling it 🌸
I was given this succulent 2 weeks ago from a friend, and I am not sure if this is healthy, any tips on getting it back?
What should I do? Give him support or clip at the little knuckles and plant those? Tips? To be clear, he does this even under a grow light.
I’m upset! Someone please tell me what’s wrong with my succulent! I was thinking sunburn maybe? His leafs are drying and his color isn’t as bright anymore :( I don’t want him to die. Please help me! I have attached photos of when I first got him to what he looks like now! I’ve already moved him out of direct sunlight! Any other tips please! He’s my first 🥹
does anyone have an idea why my jade tree has one leaf on these nodes? it grew shortly after a branch was chewed off by my mother’s dog (how it came to be in my care in the first place) so my theory is the stress made it grow wonky, since the leaves are also very irregular
Well, these two sure look great together. I’m so glad that I found pots that work great for these guys. Snake plant is nice and snug in there and standing so tall!
Hi everyone! My first big air plant, Tillandsia xerographica, is struggling. I got back from a trip and she was not in great shape, so I gave her a 30 minute soak and now there’s this white ring around the bottom and the stem part looks dark. I used tap water but I let it sit overnight to get all the chemicals out. Is there another problem I’m completely missing? I’m so lost 😅 thanks in advance!!! ❤️
There is something wrong with my Bromeliad. I recently got it as a gift. One of the flowerish thing (not sure what they are called) has turned dark from white and others are turning dark too. I’m not sure what have i done wrong. Any care instructions would be highly appreciated!
I have no idea what this stem is or why the little thing is getting so long…. What should I do? 😅 (I think he’s an aloe aristata, his name is Dragula like the Rob Zombie song)
Hello! two of my succulents are turning red on the side that face the sun. Wondering if that’s okay or if i should move them from the window?
Hey everyone! My Echeverría seems to be overwatered. I removed her from the too damp soil and she is now drying. I removed some of the most waterlogged leaves but I’m wondering if she is beyond saving. See signs of rot :/ anyone got any suggestions?
