Are the tips all skinny because it needs more light?
Is this cause from bad care or is it a natural process?
I’ve been noticing some of these dark spots on my aloes recently, is this a possible fungal infection? And if not what is it and how do I fix it? The leaves with these spots have also been drooping a bit.
This fiddle leaf was so healthy for at least a couple years. Suddenly, the leaves started getting brown and all the bottom leaves fell off. Can it be saved??!
Do I need to repot this Sansaveria? Here in southeast Louisiana, we are just getting cooler weather after our hottest and driest summer on record. I assume that’s the reason for the dried out tips.
Hello all! I bought this cactus at a little nursery near Joshua tree and cannot figure out what kind of cactus it is. Anyone know?
My Haworthia is blooming!!!!! I’ve had it for about a year and it’s doing very well!
Can this be saved? 😢
Hi there, the app can’t seem to identify this new cactus I was gifted. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks so much.
I just noticed one of my aloe plants is oozing red. Is it okay? I’ve never had this happen before.
String of hearts, string of pearls and burro tail coexisting nicely in this planter.
I’m sad to say that my cacti didn’t make it they were ok but I don’t know what happened but it spread fast
My auntie bought this and I don’t know how to take care of it. This is an outside plant. So far doing good inside Please give any info on this cluster Care tip appreciated
Recent change of weather in Texas, it’s starting to get slowly colder everyday. My Calandiva, while it is still growing new tiny leaves at the top, it is continuing to droop instead of “look up” and feel firm like it used to before the rain incident. It’s been almost a week since I brought her back in and I really do not know what else to do. The soil is dry, the leaves are very soft instead of firm, and I’ve followed every “hack” possible to bring her back to her cheerful self. Any other tips y’all would recommend?
Not sure what’s happening here please help!!😩
First picture is March 2 picture is May 3 picture is today shouldn’t they have grown more? What did I do wrong?
Getting some blooms on this “Ruby Slipper.” I got this plant on the day I said, “Get some leafy things.” This is as leafy as I get. It’s so fuzzy. (Pic of plant in the window was a month ago. It didn’t seem to care for afternoon sun so much. Go figure.)
So Saturday night I had a little insomnia…☺️🤪 Ordered these cuties from Etsy 🥰
Sometimes it’s so hard to take cuttings when a plant is so healthy but it was getting too big and trimming promotes it to be more bushy. This is Devil’s Backbone succulent. These cuttings will make a nice new plant once they root.
Anyone enjoy the feeling of seeing a sneaky bug on a pebble in your plant’s home? I knew this pot was getting too much water with ye olde “fill it until it drains” biz, but pulling these guys out revealed what a lazy job I did with soil; this was a gift for repotting and Dremel work for a friend, and I wasn’t in my element where I can collect rocks from the xeriscaped yards around me (with my neighbors trying to keep it classy, I will never pay for shale again shhhhhh). Note: I will never, ever use that Chia pot based on who took shape once given hair. Come try the Chia politician, which is 100 times less fun than Chia Scooby Doo. Anyway, I removed the insane amount of soil, filled the bottom half with a couple big rocks, loose clay pebbles, pumice, a little soil, a sprinkling of cinnamon - I believe in its ability to both promote root growth and irritate every bug that smells it - and a couple sprays of Neem. I cleaned off some of the ick spots etc. True to its Tolkien name, there is a sorta mine shaft and secret rooms running through the pot to give each plant some independence - like having their own runway to grow…and hide gold, and give Dwarves within a purpose. 🧙♂️
