Can anyone tell me what this is? It started pretty small, thinking itâs some kind of haworthia but not sure. Planta just thinks itâs an aloe, which Iâm pretty sure itâs not. Much thanks!

Hi I want to create a succulent bowl has anyone got any suggestions any help in appreciated
Idk what im doing, this is the first time this has happened to me. I made a post in the past and i think the babies got a lil bigger, just not sure if i should repot soon or wait till spring. It just looks like the one is doing well but the other two babies havenât gotten any bigger since last time. Im just wondering if they have enough nutrients getting to them or if itâs because they need more room to grow ? Someone halp :,)
Just a quick PSA: remember to check cacti closely for mealy bugs. So many cacti have white tufts as part of their growth, so it can be hard to tell them apart. That was the case with my Mammillaria toluca. But when I looked at it with a lighted magnifier, the sad truth was revealed. Iâve just squinted at my other 40+ cacti and sprayed/treated a handful that were questionable. Iâve had a houseplant or two in the past that got a bad case of pests where I really wasnât up for treating them, and they went in the bin. But NOBODY MESSES WITH MY CACTI !!!
HELP. Iâm a new houseplant momma and things have been going great. My one year old just pulled my haworthia out. How do I save it?!
Lace aloe or Zebra Haworthia? I received this plant as a gift a couple of years ago and for some reason I had it in Planta as an Echeveria. I just took some babies off it and repotted them and I wanted to double check because of toxicity to cats. I donât have any, but if Iâm giving them his gifts I want to be sure. Any ideas on exactly what it is? LeafSnap gave me those two options. Thanks!
Went outside today and my beautiful cactus basically fell over. We had a cold night, low of like 48 degrees but I didnât think that would be too cold for it. Any ideas what happened and if itâs salvageable? Below are the before and after pictures.
A Euphorbia Lenewtonii⊠it is not listed in this app. Or maybe under a different name. Does anyone know? Any help will be much appreciated!
Just got this blue burrito from a friend. She had repotted it in this pot for me. Iâm concerned about the length of the legs and worried that it is weighing down the plant. Also the leaves are very fragile and falling off like crazy. HELP!!
I really want to get into cacti because I think theyâre adorable. đ” What starters would you recommend?
This is lolo! Sheâs kinda up in the age category, 2 years I believe. Sheâs been leaning for a bit and Iâm assuming itâs because sheâs top heavy. Owned by a friend before me she was wilted, I peeled off the dried leaves at the bottom and repotted her about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Any advice?
Guys my beloved aloe vera Squidward has created more Squidwards. I am ecstatic
Iâm worried about my new little plant. The first picture is when I first got it, a couple of months ago, and the second is just a few days ago. Itâs clearly unhappy. Thoughts on the problem? Too much water maybe, not enough sun, too cold? I water it about every 3-4 weeks when it seems dry. Iâm in Vancouver Canada so our sunlight is low now + is cool outside. Any help would be appreciated.
About a week ago, I asked this community to help me âfixâ my friendsâ Aloe plant. Thank you to those who responded. đ I took the advice and prepared the healthy part of the plant like this and it has been callousing since yesterday. I plan on repotting it tomorrow or Tuesday. QuestionâŠis it possible to break this up further into smaller pieces to make a few smaller plants out of the big one? It is very top heavy and I donât want it to grow any taller. TIA.
Iâve been told this is a Brown Rose Echeveria, but Iâm not entirely sure thatâs true. Any other guesses?
Iâve had this beauty for about 30 years. it was one three or 4 inch cactus in a cactus garden. I got for my daughter when she was 10. Weâve done nothing to it except occasionally give it a little water. Everything else in the little garden died, but this has flourished. I donât know what it is. Some kind of Haworthia?
I picked up this little guy yesterday morning. It was hanging out with other misfit succulents. (More like mis-priced succulent at $26.00.) Normally the misfit succulents have a popsicle stick in the pots expressing their lowered price. For some reason this little guy did not have anything but its $26.00 price tag. A missing popsicle stick can only mean one thing, the stick fell out some place and no one put it back OR some customer was lazy and did not put the succulent back where they originally picked it up. When I got to the register, and told them where I picked it up, they then took a look at it and said No Charge. Do they know something I donât? Has the little guy already crossed over into the after growth? I repotted it yesterday. There was barely any dirt of value in the original plastic pot. Yes this one has drainage. And was it dry in the old pot? It was so dry my other plants held a Water Donation Drive. Every plant in the house lined up to give life sustaining water. (Well every plant but the Aloe Vera plant. The one who has the most was afraid of the process hurting its delicate lfleshy skin.) Suggestions? Does it need to be in an IPU? đźâđšđ€đ· An Intensive Plant Unit with a qualified crew. Itâs currently in a window that gets the most daylight possible, a large South West window on the second floor of the home. And I will move it to the grow light everyday when the day ends at 4PM. đ”âđ«đą ( Only 10 more weeks until March 1st. We can do this!!) Note: The plant is about 1.25 inches from side to side.
Guys i went crazy, i bought soooo many more plants today!!! đ€
