Does anyone know what this sticky residue on this elephant bush? As far as I know there are no bugs that would leave this, and it’s only on this one branch. It started happening after I trimmed the plant back.

Here is my ‘Ming Thing’ cactus. This arrived with a couple other sad plants (including my pink phal orchid and my elephant bush that was literally just a dead stick with three leaves) from my mom’s neighbor who passed. When I say I have personally neglected this plant *COMPLETELY* for the last 4 years I really mean it. It’s been shuffled around relatively dark corners and watered *maybe* 4 times in 4 years — ineffectually as it was in super sad, hydrophobic, spent soil. 😅 Well…it has survived this total neglect — and a fall —so today I decided to give it a new pot and fresh substrate. These are slow growers, basically living sculptures…so this is it 🤷 Certainly resilient. Certainly a survivor. Certainly a bit boring…but hey, it’s come this far.

I bought this cactus/succulent at a farmers market and was told it is some sort of hanging jungle plant, but does anyone know the name of this plant? Thanks!

Any help is greatly appreciated! I got these last year April as a birthday gift. They’re “hen and chicks” from Aldi. I’m not sure what the technical name is of the plant to add it. The pictures from the identifier don’t look the same. How do I replant this?? Do I need to replant them? Are they supposed to be jumping out of the pot?? Not sure what to do with all of her! Thank you in advance!

I’ve created this group of succulents in one pot but don’t know how to add them to Planta as a grouping. They all have similar needs. Has anyone added a grouping to Planta?

I have this big guy that I’ve grown since given as a gift two years ago. Not entirely sure what it is but it’s grown tall and heavy. Recently it’s fallen over and broken quite a few leaves off… even broke the pot it’s in as you can see! Wondering if this is how it’s supposed to grow or if it’s a lack of light issue? Thank you!

I have this beautiful pot I got recently travelling. It has ZERO drainage and I’d love to pot numerous succulents into it. What do you recommend I do for drainage so they can thrive?

I just bought this plant today; is that stuff on it fungi or what? How do I treat it? And is it safe to put with my other plants?

Hubby bought me a succulent pot for our front yard. It was crammed full but had no room for anything to spread out and grow. I split the contents into two separate pots and they will decorate our front flower beds. We’ve had a lot of rain in middle-Tennessee the last 10 days or so I haven’t moved them outside because I keep reading not to water succulents for several days after repotting. The question is how many days is a “few”. Some websites say 3 days others say 2 weeks. I watered the plants PRIOR to reporting but didn’t water the soil once they were in the new pots. I’m new to succulents so don’t want to go overboard or shock them before they have a chance to acclimate. Planta asked when they were last watered but it was before they were repotted so is indicating not to water for another 20 days. Once I have the watering situation taken care I will harden them and move them outside. Then I’ll bring them back in for winter.

My succulent seems to be getting worse. Tried giving it more direct sunlight but it’s just gotten more shriveled. Worried about overwatering it but wondering if it needs more?

Is Colin ok? I've had him in the same tiny pot he came in at least two years ago, and he seems fine, but looks exactly the same. He gets a lot of sun in the mornings and then it's quite bright the rest of the day where he is. I'm happy to leave him as is, but just checking if I should be doing anything else!
