Okay so my donkeys tail has gotten really bare and the leaves keep popping off I know I need to repot it but is that the cause of the issue? I have it under a grow light for 8-12 hours a day and only water when the soil is dry. I have had it for years and do not want it to die.
So Iâve had these strings in my office window for about a month now. I thought they would have plenty of light since it is a south facing window and they are in bright indirect light. However, my dolphins have turned into stingrays so it looks like I might need to invest in a grow light. Iâm thinking about getting a bulb to go in my desk lamp, does anyone have any suggestions? Also, wondering if just the dolphins need the light or all of the plants?
Does anyone have suggestions about care after buying a plant from a store? I bought this cactus on sale at ShopRite but I donât know its care history. Should I repot to fresh soil? Or leave it? I donât know when it was last watered or what soil itâs in to know how to move forward caring for it properly.
My first Easter Lily Cactus bloom of the season! Wasnât sure it was going to bloom again this year. Repotted and fertilized and itâs happy again!

Hello! I bought this cactus months ago, and sadly watched the top flower die. I kept it in the pot I bought it in. I was going to give it a proper burial once it looked like it was a complete loss. To my surprise (and great excitement) a tiny little arm started to grow. This pic is about 2 months since. Am I afraid to touch this? You bet! So Iâm looking for advice from this group! Shes GOT to make it this time! Sheâs currently on my front porch with bright but not direct sun. Iâm in NJ- of course sheâll be spending the winters indoorsâșïž Thanks for reading!
Got this monkey tail because it has two buds ready to go. Took a little more than a week from when I brought it home! :D
Anybody inow what these are? Label suggested bear's paw but it looks greatly different.
I've been struggling with this echeveria. Most probably over watered, all the leaves fell. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Should I cut it into half and propagate ? or just replant after letting it dry for a couple of days?

This is a red pagoda and it has become incredibly leggy from insufficient light I guess. Anyone have experience with these and know the best way to prune and get it back to its ideal shape?
