I was thinking of cutting this jade and attempting to propagate the top cutting. Is there any reason this middle part with no leaves has those lines on the stem? Are they nodes?
Towards the bottom it looks like one leaf is breaking off but two leaves are growing in? Is that correct?
Iâm not sure if the top part was just growing taller between nodes, or if something was wrong to not get leaves to grow there.
If I do cut the top part to propagate should I propagate in a different pot until roots grow? Or can I prop into the same pot as this one?
I feel like I havenât had much success with this plant since my aunt gifted it to me. I repotted the soil a few weeks ago. I recently have it more consistently under a grow light. Soil is wet because I recently watered it. I know to let the soil completely dry out between waterings.
Any help would be appreciated to try to help this plant thrive.
Thank you!

I just wanted to share my jade's glow-up! First photo (blue pot) is from mid June when I took him home from my husband's office, and the second is now, after he got repotted, had a lot of bits chopped and stuck back in his pot, and spent two months on a sunny windowsill. đ I keep going to admire him; he's so good now.

Is this an echeveria Minima, Crissy N Ryan or something else? First photo when it arrived and second photo is it today (red pot). It is 4/5cm wide

How can I fix my echeveria? Planta says itâs lack of humidity so I put her on some wet pebbles and misted today, but I thought succulents didnât really need moisture. The inner budding leaves look healthy but the outside older ones are a mess.

Ok, so he was outside because Iâm an idiot and he got burned. Iâve since brought him in and thereâs tons of beautiful new growth. Should I cut off his burned pieces, leave him alone, put the new growth in a different pot, or what? Thanks!

Hi! I have some hairy stemmed rhipsalis cuttings(?) that I've been keeping just in water since December. They have been doing well with root and stem growth, but I figure it's about time to give them a more permanent home. Going from water like this, what are some good options?
Thanks!

Hello! Today I was moving and i accidentally knocked some leaves off my succulent. It had already shed most of its leaves and so now itâs super bare. The leaves that feel off today were at the top and it only has one leaf at the bottom. Is there any way to help stimulate more growth? Or will it just happen naturally? Thanks for the help!

the babies are red vs the parent wich where copper. does it mean light stress or water deprive? maiby its just new leaf are red?
This Zebra cactus recently has begun to topple. Iâm not worried about rotting roots since Iâm pretty conservative with watering (every 7-10 days). Should I get a bigger pot? Should I propagate some of the offshoots into their own pots? There are four offshoots, two of which are visible.

I watered my plant twice this week and still feel like the leaves are droopy. Iâve never had a succulent before and lâm new to this. Iâve had the plant for 3 months, I'm not sure what kind of succulent it is. I checked the soil and it seems dry. Should I water it again? I usually water every Monday I watered it Monday and Wednesday and the plant still looks droopy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Iâve had this Mammillaria Longimamma under shade cloth, but the more I read, it sounds like the preference is mostly shade if not total. So weâre in the house now. Maybe her coloring will get better now đ€

Iâm assuming this is a prickly pear cactus thatâs what google told me and it said that the wood looking was normal for cactuses but wanted the opinion here
